I agree, he is a bit of 'gorgeous'! AAAnnnnddd.....he lives not far from me! And you're right, he is a man's man, just like John Wayne. He was one of my heroes!

Laurel
who is drooling as we speak! lol!

Never heard of him - I'm clueless.

If I were going to build a home, he's the man I would want supervising the job. He's awesome! And cute!!

Not far from you???? Laurel, email me!!!!!!! I wanna propose to Mike in person!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahhahaaa!

I'm clueless too. Never heard of him. And I would be happy if I never saw John Wayne in anything!!!!

Add me to the list of don't knows...

I don't watch much television other than our favorites...

But I guess to be truthful I could watch a show for years and not know the actors real names...not important to me.

patti

I think Joe is Mike Holmes' biggest fan! LOL

Oh, he's not an actor. He renovates homes.....renovate is not really the right word. He comes in when a home owner has been duped by a contractor and fixes all the mistakes and does not charge the home owner any money.

Oh Mike,

Marry Me???

Peg, you are cracking me up!
Okay, I cream over Denzel Washington, Terrence Howard, Richard Gere, Sean Connery, Kevin Costner, and Michael Johns.

teehee
No doubt there are others.

Listen Bestlawn,
I'm just winding up for the pitch! Don't get me started...actually a very dear friend got me started this afternoon and I just can't help myself...are there any home liposuction kits out there yet? K-Tel have any? Boy, I'd even get my teeth whitened for Mike!

I can't let Mike fall...ttt!

I'm glad to hear he's married. For some reason, I always thought he was gay.

Yes he is all man. Not gay. A recent interview Mike said contrary to popular belief he enjoys quiet music when he is home (no wonder!) - a bit of a romantic!

Ohhhh Mike...

Marry Me!

Ya, kinda makes you wish your house would fall to pieces!

My house IS falling to pieces.. but I think Jim Caruk's the man for me!

{{!gwi}}

Really? I never really looked at him...nice too! Oh what the heck, we don't need baseboards around here anyway...she say's spitting more nails out and heading to another room!

Is he single?

As long as we are 'wishing', I wish Eric Stromer would come to my house!! He doesn't have to do anything 'cept sit here and look cool'!!! But if he insists on working, I got some 'honey do's that DH doesn't seem to get at, so Eric could do em' if he wants to. He's pretty easy on the eyes!! YA...B-A-B-Y!!!

I agree with Peggy about Mike.I'm glad you told us he is a married man cause I was sooo afraid he was gay!LOL His show is one that I will even watch re-runs of re-runs!LOL DH likes him too because he "tells it like it is".I'll never tell him why I like the show.LOL
Never heard of Jim Caruk.Does he have a TV show?

lilliepad, Jim has/had a show called Real Reno's, and he's a judge on Handyman Superstar Challenge. Down to earth, Harley riding hunk of..handsomeness!

Here is a link that might be useful: Jim's link

Oh I don't like Jim at all! I've watched lots of his shows and he comes off as lazy and arrogant. His workers do all the work, he never seems to do anything!

I think it's so funny what one person thinks is a hunk...and someone else doesn't think he good looking at all....

He reminds me of a WWW guy..

Now I know I'm no beauty....but I know what I think is good...and it ain't that.

Not saying he's ugly ....but I just wouldn't waste my spit drooling over him.......LOL

patti (LOL...just slap me)

You know...I sure wish we had delete or edit...

I just decided I don't like me...

Okay...it's true I don't think he is good looking BUT...I decided to try to just keep my mouth shut..I don't need to alway give an opposite opinion...I sound like a snot...and I don't like that.

I apologize.....you can think he's a cutie if ya want...and I can shut up or say something nice....there's enough negetive responses around here without me adding to it

patti

here I am again....

Can anyone tell me what his tatoo is?

patti

Looks like a pumpkin to me, Patti. LOL! And I agree with you. He's not my cup of tea either. No need to apologize.

Come on Peg, tell us how you really feel about Mike. Don't hold back now. LOL!!!!

Karen, I think Joe has competition for the biggest fan.

Linda

Never heard of him either, not really into blond headed guys.

Oh I'd prefer Jim Caruk of the two. But I'd really like Nate Berkus. I think he's so cute, and he can fix my house anytime.
Leslie

Here is a link that might be useful: Nate Berkus-shirtless

Leslie, you're not built right for Nate.

Yeah, I'd like to know what Mike's tatoos are too! I even asked Mike to marry me on his website!!!! hahahahahahahaaa! I love blonde haired men - big time. Especially if they have dimples!

Did I start something here? I thought this thread would just have a few responses and die by the wayside...

Mike lives!

Marrrryyyyyy Meeee Mike! I'd make ya happy! I would. Honest.

Nate's wife or girlfriend, whoever she is needs to gain a few pounds!

I'm not into blondes...I prefer bald-headed guys ;o)

Now, Mike Rowe from "Dirtiest Jobs" is someone who floats my boat. It has to be his arms LOL. And Chris Cornell, Eric Roberts, Terrence Howard, Sean Connery, and Tom Jones are all okay in my book. Purrrrrrr.

Hey, I'm trying to get some work finished over here!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you think Colin Firth can powerwash and stain a deck?

Nate's wife or girlfriend?
Are we talking about the same person?
His boyfriend was killed in the Tsunami.
I don't know if he has another, but he ain't a her. LOL
Of course, I wouldn't know if the guy goes both ways.

Mike is hunky, no doubt. But he's not my type. Jim's a little closer. How about the guys on MI 5?

Colin Firth!?! Dee - he's mine! All mine! I want them all I do! Dee if you feel like painting I'll power wash your deck...
work...
who's working today?

Now since someone brought THAT up (wrong use of words - sorry). Anyone else thing Mr. Clooney is a closet gay? He reminds me of Rock HUdson and we know how that story turned out. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I'll take Yul Brynner, any ole time! But he's be long gone!

Oh I like Yul too! But I digress - I'm talking Mike here...all Mike! Yum!

Really, should I get a life or what?

Na. Never hurts to dream does it?

Mike, oh Miiiikkkkeeee!!!!!

Oops! I guess I just made the asumption because of the pics. LOL!

Mikes on right now.Redoing a basement.I've seen it before!LOL

I can never get enough Mike!

Peggy- I was watching an episode tonight and he mentioned that his tattoo on his right arm says "Make It Right".Don't know about the other one.

Looks like ...

... just because there may be snow on the roof ...

... is no indication that there ain't no fire in the hearth!

o j

And what if he was gay, what's that to you or to anyone? Is that such a crime? I can't believe the homophobic posts you women are making in a public forum. You should be ashamed of yourselves. "All man"? As if men who are gay are not "real" men? *shakes head* Unbelievable.
