Here in Northern California the hummingbirds love to visit outdoor nematanthus. When they are active, they often pollinate many of the flowers, resulting in many bright orange seedpods, which, from a distance look like flowers. One of our club members, Celine Chase, showed us her Nematanthus gregarius, with "berries"* at nearly every node. It was beautiful. Not all nematanthus make orange seedpods, N. fissus makes these interestingly shaped and large yellow fruits, with undulate ridges, like little hands. *As the late and much loved Maryjane Evans pointed out to me, Nematanthus do not make berries!--they make fleshy capsules (they have seams). Apparently you either live naked in the woods and eat twigs and berries, or you support wasting as much of everything as possible. FYI, it's not the plastic that goes into computers that's the problem -- it's the power that they consume. And tree farms are major hogs of land and are nearly as poor at supporting diverse ecosystems as conventional farms are. Anyway, as for my worst recent example? I recently received two ram chips and 6 SATA cables (each flexible and perhaps double the size of a piece of linguini along each axis) in a 1'x1.5'x2' box.

You're referring to Fantech's remote (inline) fan. It was recommended here on the forum, and I bought one for our first bathroom remodel. We're very happy with it, so I just bought one for our second bathroom remodel, now in progress. (We could have used one of their larger units connected to a vent in both bathrooms. I decided I didn't want to have the one fan wired in both rooms because I thought we'd accidentally leave it on -- and it's so quiet that is actually easy to do! I decided I wanted to put in timer switches in both bathrooms, each controlling its own fan.) I was originally going to get one of the Panasonic units because they have a good reputation for being quiet and reliable, but I was put off by the rather large size of unit on the ceiling; the Fantech units have a very simple, small grill (with or without a small light). -- Eric Here is a link that might be useful: Fantech Inline Bathroom Fans

It's looks like an airplane prop to me. Being an Air Force veteran, I found it "just right" for our family room. Even though its measurements are "small," the wide blades and chunky housing makes it look "large" to me. It's extremely quiet...as in silent on Speeds 1 and 2. Speed 3 "almost" has a quiet hum.
