Has anyone had a capsule endoscopy? I had an EGD and a colonoscopy on May 6 because of anemia and abdominal pain. The only things that were found was diverticulosis and diverticulitis and also some sores/irritation in my stomach. The doctor told me that he truly thought I had colon cancer but I don't--not even any polyps were found. He did biopsy my stomach, small intestines that he could see and parts of my colon. That all came back normal. Long story short--I am on a liquid only diet today and most of tomorrow without the rest of the bowel prep. I go in tomorrow and swallow a camera in a capsule. I have horrors of that show from the 70's or so where those doctors went into a mans body and walked around and looked at things. Any way, anyone had one of these and was it tolerable? Thanks for reading this far. Sheila
