Sharon and everyone, thanks so much for your help. i've just printed off this whole topic, so I have my directions close at hand. When I clicked refresh on my screen, that picture got HUGE! Marcia, the PVC pipe was a drain-pipe for the eavestroughs. Since we changed things, it doesn't really work anymore, I just haven't moved it yet. I really need to dig a bit of a trench where it is so the water doesn't all run into my parking spot. Speaking of water, we finally got 1" of rain yesterday. It smells so good outside, but it did knock the rest of the petals off the rose, so it's done for the year. I think the rose is a Scotch Altai rose - It has wild-rose type flowers, and blooms only once, is incredibly tough, and suckers, though not badly. My MIL got it in a "hedge rose" bundle from the county tree program; it was the only white one. We took out the rest when we turned her tiny patch of grass into a big flower bed. The thing is about 8 feet tall and 10 feet wide, and every couple of years I prune about a third of the branches out of it. I do need to trim a few branches. It keeps attacking when when I walk by. Well, I have the day off, and have made chili already. I'm heading out into the wonderful wet to plant more stuff. Connie

Julia - I don't understand how you could have used all your bandwidth. I'm only at 9 percent and I post a lot of photos, and have never deleted any in five years. You should edit them before you post so they are screen shots. I use Photo Elements, and when I crop my photos, I make them 80-100 dpi. They show up beautifully on websites, but are not high enough resolution to print well. Debra

Lynn, I have a free PB account. My albums are locked. If you have yours locked, then that's why you can't share them with a link via email. We have a WD My Cloud, which sits on a shelf in our library as a back up to all our photos. I also save them to thumb drives for convenience. Even though I can access our cloud from anywhere I have internet access, I don't like that you have to chose each time to see the photos in thumbnails instead of file names. Maybe in the distant future when I have all my photos named, I can find them via a quick search, but even then they show up as file names and I have to click to see what they are. It's still better than worrying about losing them.

rhome410 ~ you are brilliant! It never occurred to me that Photobucket now supports image editing. The best part is that you can add the copyright after your photos are uploaded so your originals are intact. I checked the photobucket forum and found there's a tutorial for making a transparent watermark.... so you can splash it across your photos to prevent others from cropping it off. The only drawback is that they don't seem to support the actual copyright symbol ©. I couldn't get their text editor to accept the symbol. :-( But this is a super-easy way to watermark those photos that are already uploaded onto Photobucket. btw...
