I had just finished doing Maple leaf quilt and am going to start on a butterfly quilt for myself but want to wait to do it in Fall,since I hadn't gotten my 2 year old grandson a birthday present I decided after finding out he likes tractors.heavy equipment,motorcycles to make him a nap quilt. I was told to make it as large as large bath towel. What do you think about that size. That's my job for this weekend.

Going to try & finish a baby quilt (only the binding to go) and sandwich a couple lap quilts. Weather is supposed to be cold & rainy & would be perfect to spend the entire weekend quilting, but DS is coming home for the weekend so will try to spend time with him.

I have my challenge wall hanging and 3 more Project Linus quilts to finish putting together for another forum. Blocks are all put together and ready to go, just got to finish the tops.

I just finished the binding of the D9P Crumb quilt that Beverly quilted and need to get a label on it so that's on the agenda along with finishing the Yellow Ribbon Tree. Have top and bottom Yellow/White HST borders to put on and then a brown one around it. I thought it was going to be a wall hanging, but it sure is getting big to be used for that! Then, the quilting on Little Miss Thang's quilt needs to be worked on. I think I'm covered for the week-end. @:)

Just finished a quilted purse and sprayed it with scotchguard and will probably start on another one -- my latest addiction.

I have 8 tops (8 to 9" square) ready for AAQI, so I plan to layer and quilt them this weekend. I'm ready to move on to a project with bigger pieces! LOL

I am leaving for my first ever quilt show - sponsored by the local Guild. Hope it lives up to my expectations! :)

I have attended too many trade shows in my professional life, so this is different for me ~ I hope packed with pure fun and I don't spend too much money~LOL~the only LQS has a sale at their store at the same time. They only have 2 sales a year.Gotta plan my time wisely over the weekend!
No yard work or housecleaning for me ~yea!

I am working on my nephew's wedding quilt - they want the colors of a Peacock feather... But I have to say the batik fabrics I chose are working great!

I also have to have some homemade gifts for a basket swap I am in and have come up with this as one of them:

It has 6 pockets and I put a piece of card board in the bottom. I plan on making a few more - easy and fun :)

I did not have anything special to do for this busy weekend, but I did manage to finish putting the binding on a lap quilt for a Christmas gift -- and did get myself organized by sandwiching 2 baby quilts (charity) for my quild. Felt that was an accomplishment being that we had to go to a graduation party and a ball game that ate up time away from the sewing room!
