Just got this yesterday....I think it was taken in April.

Jake will be three in August and Mio is now six months old.

New baby is due November 15th....so far they don't know if it is a boy or girl. But DDIL say the baby is very active. The actual flight from San Francisco to Tokyo is 11 hours but we had to fly to SFO on a commuter plane. So by the time we reached our kids house we had been up almost 24 hours. The trip home was about 10 hours but we missed our connecting flight to home by five minutes due to having wait for baggage, go thru customs and go through security again....that took over an hour. The plane was still at the gate but the gate was closed so we had to wait three more hours to catch the flight.....and then it was 30 minutes late due to mechanical trouble. It took us a long time to get over jet lag! But seeing Jake and his parents were worth the hassle!

Aww, they are both doll babies!! I love how they captured Jake stroking his lil sis. So sweet, unless maybe he's just poking her in the ear or something lol!!

She does have fair skin, lighter hair and her eyes are still blue!
No one else can see it, but Mio reminds me of my mother.

Bet you're about ready to jump on a plane. Jake just gets cuter and cuter and baby Mio is growing like a weed! Very cute grandbabies!

Gosh, Carol, it's so amazing to think that Jake is almost THREE! Seems like just a few months ago that we were seeing the first pictures of him... He certainly is fascinated with Mio's ear, isn't he?! :-)

That is one of the most adorable photos of young siblings that I've ever seen. They are both so precious and, lucky for all of us, very photogenic!
