Yes, they are beautiful children! The earlier comment about how you can see why they are so beautiful by looking at the parents reminded me of a scene in NCIS where some of the folks were using a computer program to see how a child produced by Gibbs and the director would look :-)

What a handsome boy!!! Too bad he's in Japan, I would have liked him to meet my brother's little girl. Carol, my heart breaks for you that Jake and his mom and dad are so far away. Jodi-

New baby is due November 15th....so far they don't know if it is a boy or girl. But DDIL say the baby is very active. The actual flight from San Francisco to Tokyo is 11 hours but we had to fly to SFO on a commuter plane. So by the time we reached our kids house we had been up almost 24 hours. The trip home was about 10 hours but we missed our connecting flight to home by five minutes due to having wait for baggage, go thru customs and go through security again....that took over an hour. The plane was still at the gate but the gate was closed so we had to wait three more hours to catch the flight.....and then it was 30 minutes late due to mechanical trouble. It took us a long time to get over jet lag! But seeing Jake and his parents were worth the hassle!

They're beautiful, Carol. We're all enjoying watching Jake grow, and now Mio, too. I used to work at Lincoln Center, BTW. It was my favorite job ever, for a multitude of reasons. Oh, and I never thanked you for telling me about Agave Nectar. I found some at the supermarket, which surprised me, and when I run out of that I'll add some to my next Vitacost.com order. Good stuff--thanks!

Mio looks like she wants to say something to you. It's cute how Jake is so tenderly touching her. She looks like she has her daddy's hair.

Aww, they are both doll babies!! I love how they captured Jake stroking his lil sis. So sweet, unless maybe he's just poking her in the ear or something lol!!

She does have fair skin, lighter hair and her eyes are still blue!
No one else can see it, but Mio reminds me of my mother.

Gosh, Carol, it's so amazing to think that Jake is almost THREE! Seems like just a few months ago that we were seeing the first pictures of him... He certainly is fascinated with Mio's ear, isn't he?! :-)

That is one of the most adorable photos of young siblings that I've ever seen. They are both so precious and, lucky for all of us, very photogenic!
