LOOKING for: Fried chicken

Several years ago I found a recipe in a newspaper for Perfect Fried Chicken. Well, I lost it. I remember about the only thing different was the way you fried it. You put skin side down cooked it for so many minutes, then put the lid on and cooked for so many minutes more. Then you turned the chicken and did the same thing for the other side. Anyone do their chicken this way? Or do you know where I might find out the procedure they used to fry it?
