so i guess i should go with a syringe or pipette type instrument then, and make sure im shaking up the nutrients in the bottle before mixing. a digital pH meter probly wouldnt be too bad either, compared to basic pH reagent /color coding kit. although they seem finicky and require lots of care- which sort of foils my plans for quick fertigation routine. as for the process of mixing, i typically will make a 5 gal batch by filling with 4 gals of water or so, then adding FP, then ProTekt, then vinegar. i "stir" with a blast from the hose to mix things around and top off to 5 gals. for irrigation its just protekt then vinegar. i add nutrients according to my "typical" mix ratio, then measure, and adjust as necessary.

Here is a picture of two new fresh blooms that opened this morning. The blooms are really quite shapely and on the large side. They measure about 13 inches long from calyx to the tip of the corolla and about 7" wide. So it's a decent sized bloom. The fragrance is nice. Not overpowering and on the citrusy side. She is really making me think this one out. Each of these blooms also have corolla material up inside them as well.

Hmm Munkos, well yes, we put a new mirror in the bathroom, and rather than admire his beautiful markings in the shiny new mirror, Simba lavishes all his attention on the wall and spooks Mama late at night. Haha, our cats too weren't sure what to make of the ceiling fans the first summer. They weren't scared, though, just a lil over-ambitious - when they realised they couldn't jump high enough to catch the fan, they settled for lying on their backs and swatting up at the fan :-P You may be right, there probably was an insect (or something else of interest) in there before, and he remembers it, but then usually all three cats 'hunt' together, and Nikita should've been right up there with him with her cute lil chirps. Also, why would he do that only at night? Maybe some noise coming from the other side, but I could hear nothing - I tried last night. I can't begin to tell you how spooked I am right now - everything Simba does, everywhere he looks, I have to check out. He's also asking for more attention than before, more purring, more sucking on the tail (he does that when he's anxious and just before he goes to sleep), more 'Ma-maaaa' in top volume all around the house, when he's not yowling, he's sitting in my lap, or somewhere near me. (DH still finds it funny that I'm scared all the time; I'm thinking of dressing up as a ghost - flowing white robes and all - and waking him up while Simba's screaming his head off - maybe that will make DH take this a lil seriously. Lol) Well I'm hoping the yowling routine stops before I land a job!

Hi, Mom of 3! I've got some suggestions, based on my experiences. First, your DH needs to get a set schedule with her, of one weekend per month, as the CO says. It either needs to be set dates or two weeks notice or something. If she refuses to agree to any particular schedule and wants to reserve the right to call at the last minute demanding to see her son, you're going to have to find the money to see an attorney and see what can be done about this. I know exactly what that is like; we've been through that exact thing, and BM will use this to torment you. You will find yourself unable to make plans for any weekend because you'll never know if BM will call to announce that she hasn't "gotten to" see her son and now wants to do so immediately. SS may need to see his mother - but he also needs stability and structure, and he should be able to make plans without knowing that they are always subject to last minute change due to his mother's whims. Secondly, your husband needs to stop talking to BM. Again, I know exactly what this is like. BM will use DH's attempts at co-parenting and maintaining a civil relationship to insinuate herself into your lives, to wreak havoc, to cause stress, to get attention - DH needs to just stop it. Obviously they must talk about SS - but he is all that they need to talk about, and if the conversation veers off of that topic into how much money you now have for gas, why the CO was unfair, how the CS is too much money and she's broke, how mean her new BF is, what's wrong with you, what's wrong with DH, what's wrong with the world, or anything else - DH needs to simply say "I've got to go now" and hang up. He does not need to justify, explain, excuse, elaborate or any other such thing to her anymore. He only needs to be civil and calm while discussing SS, and that's it. The longer any conversation lasts, the more BM will try to draw DH into an argument or dispute. Co-parenting does not mean that BM gets to rant and rave at you or DH at will and you are obligated to listen to her, or worse yet, respond. Third, I'd have a budget that does not include any CS that she is supposed to pay. If she actually sends some, that's a nice bonus - but I wouldn't be counting on it. Lastly, if she pulls some stupidity and does not return SS on time, call the police and file for an emergency hearing immediately. Don't let it go "this one time" - because it will happen again if you allow it too. You can make it through this. Your DH is now custodial parent. You now have a CO saying that she gets one weekend a month and pays CS. The status quo has changed and DH does not have to "work with her", or bend over backwards to accommodate her. He has to follow the CO, no more, no less.
