Didn't look at this until now. Just finished watching. I figured out who 007 was at the end when they realized man was George.

At the beginning of th is last show, as I was rewatching it with DH, Korev calls him 007 too. Still could not figure it out. Thanks for the research. Bugged me not to know.

So is Bailey going to be a thing with the Chief next season? Or is he back with his wife these days? Can't remember. I do like the wife and wish she had more of a role now and then. She is cute, fiesty, ladylike and has that darling voice.

My ears perked up somewhere in the show when 007 was mentioned, cause it was also mentioned in another thread. So I was waiting for 007 at the end, just didn't know UNTIL the very end, what it meant.

No, Bailey isn't going to "have a thing with the Chief" next season. Her husband, Tucker, has given her an ultimatum -- either the new residency (in Pediatrics), or their marriage. So, she told the Chief that she and Tucker are splitting up (she thinks he's weak), but because she's going to be a single parent, she can't devote the time to her career that the new residency would require. So, she wants to stay in General Surgery, where she'll be an Attending Physician with fewer hours away from her son.

I wondered the same thing about Bailey and the Chief. I wouldn't be surprised to see them become a 'thing' regardless of whether she is a surgeon or in pediatrics.

Bailey's marriage has been in trouble for awhile and I believe the Chief and his wife are through.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see...darn it!

Last we heard, the Chief and his wife had gotten back together. We just don't see her a lot because she does a lot of guest appearances on other shows (and I think she might have become a semi-regular on one). It was always GREAT when she was a judge on Boston Legal!
