It's not made to do this. They have a fully integrated warming drw. with a different SKU to meet that need. If you want a paneled warmer drawer , you buy that model. You might be able to remove the ss front ( they put it on so someone can get it off) without damaging anything and get replacement parts to convert it. Problem is you are going to have to do the legwork, engineering and labor. Dacor prob. won't be much help except to point you to a vendor that'll sell you parts.

LWO--Kay's WD will not be 5" off the floor. She has a 10.5" drawer below the WD. So 10.5" plus 4-5" toe kick = 14.5-15.5" off the floor. The handle will be even higher than that. I DO use my warming drawer under my double oven stack. It's just above the floor in the no-no spot. I use it because I have a need. We do use it for waffles like you propose and for many other items. My waffles are crisp because mine has a "moist/dry" slider function. Once you get used to it, I think you'll be glad you have it. Yours won't even be at the floor like mine is so it'll be easier to get in and out of. Can you have your cab maker fabricate a panel front for it? I was surprised how little my cab maker charged me for my WD panel. I agree about watching eBay for a panel. You never now what will show up.

6 square does inset in a maple and cherry cabinet without the bead and the hinges are exposed which means you they do not spring shut and you can not do soft close on the doors because of that. A 10 x 10 kitchen would normally be $5,000 to $6,000. 6 Square cabinets are in stock meaning everything is on the shelf in their warehouse as we speak already finished in the colors they offer. You can not order your color as they have pre bought it in the colors they have chosen. The quality of the cabinet is unbeatable for the price hands down. Wether you like the door style and color is a personal choice we all have the right to be opinionated over. They ship out 2 weeks after confirmed orders. They do not sell direct and they only go on trucks with cabinets in them so everything is handled by hand no fork lifts and no pallets. This normally means much less damage from shipping. There is an RTA company Sunnywood that does beaded inset doors that are pretty well made given they are Chinese. My experience with RTA products is you have to expect something will not be perfect from shipping damage to slight blemish on something as the boxes are handled so many times before they get to the end user. Again I am not suggesting they are the bomb the question was where can I afford inset cabinets. I am working to get a project from the Local homeshow I recently attended. I can offer Geppetto custom cabinets in all custom sizes with integrated end panels on all exposed sides and fully loaded with every bell and whistle possible including beaded inset for $4,000 more then Home Depot using Thomasville. Most dealers who are established with mature showrooms in the DC area where I am now double the price. I am happy to make 35% If the cabines cost me 10,000 I would sell them for 13,500. Generally the more tallented cabinet companies sold at independent local stores are sold at pretty high markups.

But if this run has an end on it, do you need to specify just the end to be 1/2 inch (or greater?) deeper? If this run joins another run at 90 degrees (say east and north walls) then does the adacent run need to be modified because it lost a half inch? Or are these all things that can be accommodated at install?
