Ines, Av variegation comes in many colors; white, pink, tan, gold, and lighter green. I probably missed a few. I don't have many varigateds, but they like lots of light and cooler temps to keep their color. If they revert to green, change the conditions (with maybe a lower nitrogen fert) and they should change back. Don't pull off green leaves, it doesn't help. Naming it is likely to be impossible. There are two big Av growers, Optimara and Harsters, and numerous others who breed AVs on the side. Just enjoy your pretty baby, and post pix when you get batteries. You give advice like you are an expert when in fact you are "Not familiar with your particular machine." And, furthermore, to tell eligain to forget about it is reckless advice. Do you know exactly the size of the battery she lost? These aren't COINS she is talking about but a camera battery which is most likely much larger than a coin. Assuming the battery is the size of, let's say for argument, a quarter, I based my comments on a conversation I had with a washer repairman who has been doing this for over 20 years. He recently told me that he gets many calls on certain washers (not all brands) where coins and other small items get stuck below the agitator and eventually will cause problems. He ought to know because he has had to fix them. The key phrase in my post was "It could cause washer damage if you leave it in there." That is an accurate statement because experts have verified it. Hi Ann My Wife has a Canon S2 IS....all I can say is, you get allot of camera for your money! I use a Rebel, but S2 always amazes me with the quality of photos it can take! The only drawback I find with these cameras, also Sony, I tried one out, 12 x zoom lens, but have returned it, just because the processing speed is a bit slow, perhaps with the new one it is better? As for batteries, we use Energizer rechargeable 2500 mA H, it takes about 3 hrs. to recharge and you can shoot about 200 to 300 pics on super fine setting. You should have at least two sets [of 4] , my Wife has 3 sets, so you will never run out of power. I find these batteries are more convenient, because it is available anywhere, much cheaper, about 1/3 of the price then my canon Rebel special battery. We heard, S3 IS will be released May 31. I've used Camata Camera's, they have a store at Ebay that you can buy item's directly from. They are very good, honest,and sell only top quality. I'm not sure how much you want to spend or what type of photography that your going to be doing. Canon now has the Canon Power-Shot SD20 that is a 5 mega-pixel and come with plenty of extras. The extras are items that you will need to start with & buying as a package will save you $$$. Take a look at it & see what you think about it.
