"my cabinetry butts up against a small portion of my cabinets"~why am I not understanding this? And exactly what do you mean by 'trim? Baseboards, etc? I have antique white cabs, and corner round and toekick(?) has been used for trim, but since it's all part of the cabinetry, it all matches.

Thanks for sharing! Your kitchen is stunning! here's the thing. We want white cabinets but also love a warm kitchen. So We are 99% sure we are going w Pental Quartz akoya countetop, which is a light cream color w some very light beige swirls. Our island will be brown with black glaze on cherry. This, along w a warm neutral backsplash and wood floors to add some warmth and will hopefully be balanced. I took advice from others and looked at the doors separately. I do think this helped BUT I'm still SO torn. My KD likes the alpine white better since it is a softer white, a little more traditional, a has the warmer undertones. My husband likes the Nordic for the contrast against the dark colors in the room. I like Nordic for the crisp look, but am reluctant that it will not give me the warmth I'm looking for. Alpine is beautiful but a shade off from the trim around the house and while I don't think that matters a whole lot, the Nordic matches a bit better. I don't think I can go wrong either way BUT I know me and no matter which I choose, I love regret not going for the other. One final note, I took the samples to my neighbors house. She has a beautiful kitchen but a little too bright white for me. The Nordic white was almost an identical match but she also has a lot of natural light in her home. We get a lot of natural light as well in the adjacent room but because of afternoon sun, have the shades closet most afternoons.

flseadog -- Thanks so much. I know what you mean, my memory plays tricks as well. lowspark-- I understand it is confusing. We have Brookhaven Alpine White cabinets. On one wall we have an appliance garage and above it we have a 42 inch wall cabinet. All of our cabinets have a finished maple interior -- except for the appliance garage and the cabinet above it. If you order a glass cabinet -- the interior is white and if you order an appliance gargage the interior tends to be white because the interior of the garage tends to be exposed more regularly. However, the 42" cabinet above our appliance garage has a solid door with a white interior. Since it is next to a cabinet with a maple interior if the two upper cabinets are open at the same time it looks odd and like it was a mistake. I think what happened was originally all the upper cabinets had glass -- so they all would have had white interiors. My DH rejected the glass and requested all solid doors -- the change was made, but now we have three solid cabinets in a row -- two have finished maple interiors and one has a white interior. My question is whether anyone has an appliance gargage with the white interior and an upper cabinet with a maple interior so that when the upper cabinets are opened at the same time it is a consistent look. It may not sound like a big deal, but every person on this job has told us it is wrong and it just looks horrible. So, yes, I am interested in an appliance garage with a white interior (since it tends to sit open -- like glass) and an upper cabinet with a maple interior. If that cannot be done, then we will have to go with all maple for a more consistent look on top -- but there are people on this forum who have or who think they have an appliance garage with a white interior and an upper wall cabinet with a maple interior. I'm trying to confirm whether this is something that either Brookhaven or Wood Mode has done. So, as confusing as it may seem, we would like an appliance garage with a finished white interior -- since it is frequently exposed. And, we would like the interior of the upper cabinet to be maple, so when the cabinets next to it are opened they all look the same. Looking at the piece I have installed right now, it looks like it would be pretty simple to acheive this look.
