I had originally chosen ones just like them, but when I paid a designer to come over for an hour to help me out she told me the straight/sharp lines were all wrong for my space. But I may just have to take what she said with a grain of salt because she said my table and chairs were all wrong too, and I absolutely love my table and chairs! @Amanda Abbott The style you have was the kind I was looking at...where they have the "footed" are where it connects to the cabinet. I did like these online, so I ordered a couple samples to see if I like them in person. I wonder if they would be too bulky. PLUS, the largest size they come in is 6 5/16 center to center and unless I put two on my large drawers I don't think that's big enough for a 30, 33, 36 drawer bank...do you think? Wouldn't I need two if they were that small???? They do make them in appliance pull size, but they're bigger and bulkier and cost $90 each (and I would need 15, so that's out of the question!!!!)

I'm currently in the same dilemma. I know all brass construction has always been considered top quality. Most of the things I am looking at are zinc or zamak. I don't know if the pulls I am looking at that are zamak are any different from those that are zinc. Many, many of these handles I am guessing are poured into the same molds in China and then branded for different companies. Is it a matter of paying for a more well-known, more marketed brand and not getting any better quality? In the real world that most of us live in (where we have financial limitations on how much we're willing to spend), how much does the material really matter? Do these more inexpensive brands lose their top coat finish? Do pulls really get "worn out" or is it a matter of they become out of style? Is there anyone out there who can give some objective answers?

Choose the backsplash after the cabinets and tops are installed so you can see it in your setting with the lights you have. May make a world of difference.
