Help! In a dither re: old lawn mowers, searching for new ones!
Comments (5)Hi Nancy, I am just a home owner with a 1/2 acre lawn. It looks like you have quite a large property that requires, and indeed has quite an investment in machinery. One thing that I found useful is this web-site. http://www.lawnserviceforum.com/index.php They have a discussion area "Commercial Equipment Discussions" that various professionals talk about mowers, tractors etc and the pro's and cons. They have quite a bit of history as well, so you can usually get a good feel of what equipment is good for what type of lawn. Hope this help. Warmest regards, Mike....See MoreCan anyone help my search for THIS bench?
Comments (6)Bestyears, I LOVE the leather one!! If I could start all over I'd probably look into getting that whole set. However, the table I have is standard height and that set is higher plus its leather, which, although kid friendly, is probably not recommended for a sunroom. But thanks for looking-my google searches never came up with that one so I guess I have hope to find one still. And the suggestion to find a local woodworker is a great one too. I think I'll look into that also. Thank You!...See MoreRearranging leads to new coffee table search...
Comments (41)Yes oly and mj... it's fine, it's alright, it would be great for many people... but to me, it feels like a lot of "corners" in one small space. If you were to walk thru the space, you'd see what I mean. Plus, I just have a thing for round coffee tables and I couldn't make it work in my living room, so I'm determined to make it work in this room. teacats, I saw that table too! And the problem (now I'm really sounding OCD) is that they don't show the table top. They only show it from the side. I wish I could see what the top really looks like. And I wish it was less shiny. I don't like shiny wood! Yes, I'm weird. Here are a few more I've looked at, for anyone who hasn't completely lost interest. http://www.roomandboard.com/rnb/product/detail.do?productGroup=3198 http://www.crateandbarrel.com/furniture/accent-tables/blake-grey-wash-round-coffee-table/f39040 (I actually have the Blake lounge chair in the adjacent living room, but in the darker wood.) http://www.lafuente.com/Rustic-Furniture/Oak-Wine-Furniture/Occasional-Tables/7047/?ovchn=PGR&ovcpn=PriceGrabber+Furniture+by+Collection&ovcrn=Round+Stave+Coffee+Table+-+Weathered&ovtac=CMP I like this idea... but worry that it might be too flimsy. If I'm going to do an ottoman, I want one that won't collapse if my 10 year old sits on it. http://www.ivgstores.com/IVG2/N/ProductID-230251.htm?utm_medium=cse...See MoreHelp me decorate my spaces (condo) tried to capture every space !
Comments (6)Ok, that is a very blanket question, are you purely asking for decor advice or are we taking on a major budget and real $$ changes? 1. what is with the white crown trip around the exhaust pipe for the vent hood? 2. a counter depth fridge would help 3. the backsplash is dated the counters are fresh Dining 1. put the table in the center of the room and remove the table cloth 2. center the globe art piece to the wall and lower, in fact, all your pictures need to be much much lower, and the smaller ones need to be grouped together more collage style. master bath 1. replace the counter and faucet 2. paint the cabinets and add hardware 3. frame the mirror 4. tile the floor ( carpet and water dont mix) living room 1. lower the artwork 2. declutter the top of the tv console a bit 3. a round coffee table would help you a lot, possibly even two nesting tables that are small and could be pulled out to use. master bed 1. add some curtains to the windows to soften 2. add some storage like an ottoman at the end of the bed to put the 'junk" in. 3. lower and group photos and art. So far you on track, I like your living room and your art pieces. The new shower doors are pretty!...See More101newkitchen101
