My new logo/motto

I saw this on Facebook and it so describes how I feel about turning 75. How did I get to 75 anyway. My brain doesn't that i am old and I refuse to act old. I know that my body is not trim and slim any more and I certainly can't do all the things I have done in the past but I' going to be like this little frog and go down fighting ..

Barbara, YOu really sound like a glutton for punishment. 36 trays? Wow! I just pulled apart a petrocossmia today and got two separate plants out of it and then I put down about 10 of the little leaves. I also took a crown off Macs Cameo Camelot because I had tried groing it as a trailer because it suckered so much. When I stripped off leaves to get it down to a small crown without any suckers, I couldn't resist putting down some of the leaves I had just removed. I jsut kept trimming the bottoms of each leaf and inserting it into a small container that I brought home from Wendys which had a baked potato in it. I really got carried away and put 20 little leaves in the container. I guess none of us addicts can resist propagating. Fred in NJ

I'm for whatever logo all you ladies decide on. They are all just wonderful so it truly is tough to pick just one that I really like best.I think the lineup of ladies fanny's with the green or red lettering is a really good. It just feels...us...to me, I guess. Although I couldn't say their attire is what I wore last to go to the nursery and buy plants (HA HA HA) but the pic feels fitting to me. The logo, where do we go to link to it(get the url) or is someone emailing it to everyone so we all are aware of the place it's stored at for linking purposes. I think it would be easiest to have it stored at a reputable photo place and then just email the url link to all members so we can place it in our thread start up for each month when we are the hostess. It might be related to when the cache is cleared on your browser. It keeps the old favicon stored till cleared out then it has the new one that replaced it. Some people have the browser set to clear cache each time the browser is closed so they would have been updated right away. Others might not have it set to clear as often. If the browser had an update it could have cleared cache after the install.

My old motto was "never turn down free food or money." I've just recently "sometimes good is good enough."

Cute!

I'm a couple of years behind you, but still a pre-war model. Don't you marvel at how much the world has changed? Whole centuries went by where almost nothing changed. (And it was a very harsh world for most.) Our mothers' worlds and ours have been 'warp speed'. Can it continue?

chisue, that's what I think too. Technology, just in my 68 yrs on earth, has been so overwhelming, it's unbelieveable!. I often wonder, after thinking back, just how the world will be, even say, 25 years from now!

Your logo reminds me of a news story I saw this morning:

A guy caught a fish, and when he went to remove the hook to let it go, he saw a frog in the the throat of the fish, which then blinked, and hopped out.

Jar you are so right..our server the other night told my husband that he reminded her of her Grandad..when my husband answered she said but he passed away....he was only 64...so yes, thank you dear Lord for allowing me to wake up yet another day.

When you got your throat squeezed shut ...

... it's hard to swallow ...

.. but - even more worrisome, and sooner troublesome - you can't breathe!

Here's to breathing for a while longer ... and not being swallowed up, whether by storks, or pelicans ... or the worries of the day.
