Photo #8 - bottom left flower (white bloom in the dogwood looking cluster) is a Bunchberry Photo #9 looks like a Wood Anemone maybe. The next looks like an orchid of some kind. Thank you for the comments hosenemesis & iris_gal, I like the colours also as well as the flowers though would be nice to have a large pond to see them stand out more. Iris_gal, do not know the names of the blue, red or pink though the other two I purchased from an iris nursery over here their, names are; White - Dural White Butterfly (reasonably popular clone in this area), the other; Yellow - Koorawatha Gold (that is the name which came with the plant? ). They do make good looking pond plants, if trimmed & kept in containers from what I have seen. cheers allan

Hey Mike, I'm still here at Lake Monroe. It certainly doesn't seem as long as 20 years since we were part of that forum, but in any case... it's been quite a spell. Does that forum still exist? I'm trying to recall the hurricane you mentioned but memory isn't serving so well these days. I know there was a bad one way back when... but when? Anyway, great to 'meet up' with you again. My collection is a bit bedraggled but intact, over 100 species, cultivars and hybrids. I still have some from Alice Waidhofer, Norma's distribution of Huntington BG plants in 1999, as well as one or two from you or more probably Dale. I don't have many large plants as you do, but I tend to propagate and divide rather than leave them alone, a definite fault of mine. I admire your growing abilities, your sans are superb. Thought about Norma the other day, do you know if she is well? I remember Norma and her funny twin Hermine were always the 'life of the forum'. Those were the days. Health and energy level aren't what they once were, so I have been less active in trading or buying sans in recent years. But sans spirit and interest are still very strong. All the best, Russ

My environment has low RH (16-20%) so the soil can dry out quick. I would agree that I possibly have been overwatering so this edema sounds right. I will back off the watering and let it really dry out before watering again. Should've added more perlite to this soil for better drainage as well. Thanks again all!
