Cathy, Thank you so much! I wanted to let you know that I received the Feb Blocks in excellent shape. They arrived Sat. We are dog sitting 2 dogs for a neighbor - so I wasn't able to lay these blocks out with 3 crazy doxies running around (and stealing stuff for fun). I did open ea one - it was too much excitement for me - as soon as I get a chance, I will lay them all out and take a pic & try my best to post the pic. I want to thank each and every one of the contributors. I can't tell you how much fun it is to see the different fabrics you all use - as this was suppose to be scrappy from your stash - so for me, the new quilter, seeing your different fabrics and styles - not to mention receiving these blocks from all over the USA & the UK - way beyond cool for me (even DH was impressed & excited). So, many, many thanks and I am having fun! I had a quilt class on Friday - a BOM at the Pfaff dealer - and told everyone about the Lotto I just won - they didn't understand - next month I am going to bring my winnings to brag!

Jan. - Feb. Applique Block Lotto Winner

I've been running the applique lotto twice a year, Jan./Feb. and July/Aug. alternating with the paper pieced lotto in April/May and Oct./Nov. This gives everyone two months to complete their blocks and gives us a month long break in between each. If there's enough interest, perhaps we could modify this, but so far (I think), everyone is pretty happy with this schedule. Next month I'll add this information to the sign up post. I don't know why I hadn't thought about doing so sooner. ;) Cathy

This is sooooo exciting!!!!!! I just remembered it's now May (still can't believe it! Where did April go????). My mother loves green and her birthday is in a few weeks. Maybe????? Thank you to everyone that participated :-) I'll post some pictures when I figure out how to assemble the squares.

There will probably be at least one Quilt of Valor out of these blocks probably with red/blue sashing and cornerstones.

I have the blocks! It really is quite exciting. I'm still on my neighbor's computer, because we were sent the wrong router. But I promise pics of the blocks as soon as we are fully on-line.
