It will be a very long weekend for us. We will drive 100 miles west to Ohio on Saturday to visit our son-in-law and go to the cemetery where our daughters ashes are. Will come back home that evening then drive 130 miles east to visit the cemetery where my parents are buried. Will stay in that area for visiting with friends and realtives then return home Tuesday evening.

Fri: college graduation party for nephew
Mon: hot dogs & burgers on the grill with a few cold ones on the side.

Yep! Saturday we clean house and get ready to leave early Sunday morning, driving down to FL for our vacation! Gone for 2 weeks, housesitter will be here and in charge of all the beasts. I wish it was Friday! lol

We don't have that holiday in Canada.

I'm taking a vacation day on Friday to make it into a 4-day "weekend". Saturday we're having a tag sale so I'll prepare and set up Friday. Sunday we're going fishing at Papactin reservoir with friends. Sunday we're relaxing and working in the garden.

Yard work...LOL maybe if it is nice we will take the boat out but I hate going on the holiday weekends sooo many boats out to many people...Stacy

Will probably just tell the kids that we're grilling on Monday...come and get it if you want it.

We'll probably have a family feast for all and we are babysitting our youngest grandchild... 20 months old.

We are going to a cook out at my daughters. Vique.

We may BBQ with friends, but rarely take any trips on that weekend. We'll spend most of the weekend doing yardwork and getting things marked for a garage sale we are having the end of the month.

we will probably work in our bathroom. (remodel)

We are doing a survival campout with a group of boy scouts. We are going to hike in for two nights and they have to bring all their supplies. I think it's going to be a lot of fun.

Depending on the weather (rain forcast so far for Sunday) we'll go to the cabin, and decorate my Gramma and Grampa's, and 2 uncles graves. Usually, we put silk flowers on there, but I think with the long cool weather our Spring has had, everything should be blooming there then.

On Friday night, my niece is going to her Senior Prom, I'm going to her Grandmother's house (not my mother, her other G-ma) to see her off, take a zillion pics of her and then the adults are going to cook out, eat, and spend the evening catching up. We've got lots to reminisce about - I can't believe Gabby is 17 and preparing to leave for college. I remember vividly the day she was born (sniff, sniff).

On Saturday, my youngest DD has her first ballet recital at 2:00. I've promised to help set-up for the reception (to be held after the recital), so I have to be there by 1:00 ish. Mr. B will have to get her there in time.

On Sunday, I've agreed to volunteer at Viva Vienna! as a representative of my job, that's from 8-2.

On Monday, my mother is having a cookout at her house. I'll probaby be there from noon until I've had enough, which will probably be around 4 or 5.

I'm tired already and the weekend hasn't even gotten here yet.

Got family visiting... no rest... but lots of fun, I hope... and hopefully, no quarrels.

We will be hitting yardsales on Saturday, selling at a flea market in Barto, Pa on Sunday, and attending a neighborhood block party on Monday.

The weather forecast for the weekend in my neck of the woods is sun, sun, and more sun. Yippee!

I'm not new to this site, but am to this forum.

I am going to have the most memorable Memorial Day.
My husband & I are taking our DD, DSIL, & DGD's on a
Mexican cruise, to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.

I couldn't think of anyone else I would want to celebrate
with my family

No plans but we will be without kids. FIL is taking them camping.

Ernie & I will be attending services at our American Legion in Madeira Beach, enjoy their picnic fare & then later head back up to Indian Rocks Beach to dance.

Painting, working on the house, painting, watching the birds, painting, praying for more Purple Martins, painting, celebrating Wes' birthday, painting, buying doors for the expanded linen closet, and painting.

And, hopefully I'll get some painting finished.

I guess, we will work on getting one of our bathrooms tiled.

My DS and DIL are having a party at their house. DS is buying a skeet thrower this weekend and has already loaded up on ammo. It will be a fun day sitting outside, eating and relaxing.

Nothing as of yet, DH has his special needs son so hopefully I will have to work or I will sleep all weekend!
