Show me your glass cabinets!
Comments (5)Here are our glass cabs, all of our uppers are glass so they are in use every day, so almost everything is stacked for easy use. And I agree - that is a lot of money for a channel - I think you could get away with clear adhesive dots on the glass or maybe museum wax provided the platters are not priceless (is it wax? I can't remember what that stuff is, but GW'ers have talked about it before) My bet is you can find something that would work well, not be really visible - and be much cheaper. Good luck!...See MoreShow me your colored stained glass doors!
Comments (2)I know someone posted a great site a while ago that I spent some time playing on. For now, I just googled stained glass insert doors. This one has some good inspiration pix. Here is a link that might be useful: pretty glass...See Moredark upper cabs light base cabs; show me your pics
Comments (3)I am guessing that having the lowers light is a function of wanting to disguise the undesired oak on the lowers, not that you desire the look of lighter lowers. If that's correct, recently someone posted about having gel-stained cabinets to disguise an unattractive grain. I've included one link below. There is a picture of the finished cabinets in an espresso color, and they look beautiful. If that appeals to you, you could then do your lighter cream and glaze for your new uppers. Hope this helps. Comments (18)I lied (on accident). I got my kitchen glass knobs from Van Dyke's. I don't know what line they are since they didn't state. I do know they're glass. They may be Schaub since they're polished nickel. I just realized that our bathroom knobs are the Amerock since they came in the satin nickel. But we didn't order those for the kitchen since I wanted polished. The knobs look the same though, except for thr base finish. I paid more for the bathroom knobs because Van Dyke's was having a really good sale at the time....See Morelucy0214
