Tired already. Went out to survey my kingdom (and take some pics) and saw disease and aphids on hollyhocks, fuzzy black/brown worm on rudbeckias and heliopsis, some more RRD on roses and a couple of peonies look weird. If you are stricly organic, please stop here! I mixed up some systemic spray and hit them all with it. I am sitting here enjoying the Orioles on the porch about 4 feet from where I am sitting. The Martins seem to have left. I hope more come along. I don't know what happened. I got my feet soaking wet which I hate. I should have put on my knee boots. Lots of iris are budded. I am getting anxious to see what I have. I was delighted to see the divisions of the B & B Salvia that I planted in the Grass Bed by the cellar are finally coming up! I thought sure they were goners. I am probably through for the day unless I get up enough energy to go out to the barn and plant some more flower seeds in flats. ceresone, I am really wanting to see those beds too. How many do you want to end up with?

If we had TV like THAT, maybe I would consider cable again! LOL! Bummer about your fence. This is the first year that we haven't lost a tree or two on our property. We've had some REAL windy days, but nothing took out our trees, thank goodness. Your garden beds look ready to go! I have to haul dirt and turn it into my hay/worm bin castings and spread it. Then I, too, shall be ready! Easter...I am getting the 2-three year olds again (they are becoming very special to me!) this weekend, Saturday at 11am and overnight for Easter! I LOVE HAVING KIDS ON HOLIDAYS! And, my DD got laid off, so she is here for a week. She's looking for jobs online, and she can do that anywhere. So, it's a perfect weekend! MIL arrives in 6 days for a week-long stay, but without FIL, so that should go easy. Remember, FIL has Asperger Sydrome, so it takes a lot of energy to have fun with him. DeeMarie: CPAP! It's a lifesaver! So glad you're doing this for you, your loved ones, and US!, my love! Peg: Good attitude! As far as caustic family members go, I think many of us have one or two of those. We deal, but it is painful to have family members that we can't just "be" with. :-) Since you asked, projects OUT of the kitchen are many and they are getting accomplished! It feels so good! I feel like I am FINALLY getting things under control. I need to tackle my yard and garage and just get it STARTED! Okay, back to scanning and filing paperwork for me!

Donna and I have been exchange cards and presents for 8 years, now. We decided couple years ago to end the present exchange and just cards. Duh, I forgot last year, and now I DID NOT FORGET, just the date. Dumb de dumb dumb. At least she didn't get a midnight call on her supposedly birthday this year :o) Will see the 16th!

A friend and I went to a Quilt Show today. We drove 2 1/2 hours expecting the show to start at 1pm but it didn't start until 4pm. So, we had to entertain ourselves so we went to fabric stores!! Got some great deals and had a very good time. DH, DS and I are going to an auction tomorrow morning. We are expecting rain for the weekend too so I will not be staying if it is raining too hard. I have a couple of blocks to make for monthly committments and would like to get some BOMs made for my guild. We introduce 1 block a month but have the draws at our annual meeting in June so I have a little time to get the done but don't like them hanging over my head. I also need to get my guild Outreach (charity) quilt finished for our May meeting. Next fall marks my guild's 20th anniversary so we are having a very large quilt show in Oct so need to get some quilts finished for that as well. I have lots of tops to get sandwiched and quilted! I am tired already just thinking about this list! Mary
