A place to put your umbrellas!
Comments (8)Again elegant and wonderful. yourfriend is very lucky to be able to spark your creativity and then you go for it. I do not think it is an overkill at all. If she doesn't use it as an umbrella stand it looks like she could put a block of wood in the bottom and place a potted plant in (in the store pot) for display. A rudbekia, echinacea or sunflower would right at home. Dena...See MoreWhen does dwarf umbrella palm come up?

Comments (3)I love my umbrella sleeves!! The only thing I regret is not putting more. We have one in the center of our baja ledge and I've had no problems with it collecting dirt or chipping plaster. Having them on the deck around the pool is great because we don't have to drag around heavy umbrella stands. The only disadvantage is with the sleeves located in the deck. When placing an umbrella inbetween to chaise lounges, for example, the umbrella sits about 6" in the ground which causes me to bump my head on it when walking by, if it were in a stand above ground, I wouldn't have that problem. I can't think of anything else that bothers me about them. Definitely recommend them!!...See Morehelp--umbrellas sleeves w/covers for deck
Comments (8)I was against getting an umbrella sleeve in the pool out of fear of cracking, but I do think I want one for my deck. We are waiting on our Sunsetter Awning to be delivered and once we get that up and running, we will no longer need to use the umbrella with our patio set. I figured it would be nice to have an umbrella sleeve installed in our deck right between my two chaise lounges so we can use our market umbrella there. Does anyone know how much this might cost to do? Do I just call my PB and have them get the sleeve and pay them to do it or should I order it myself from the poolfittings.com site (by the way, their link is down for viewing the sleeves). Is this a doable DIY job? I guess I really just need to know installation options and cost. We have pavers by the way and have TONS left over in case of a boo boo. Sorry for all the questions, but thanks!...See Moreloveallmykids
