You folks are almost making me cry! I just brought up my office spring/summer window treatments to press and put up, and these sweet comments will get me through the task of ironing the 10 panels! Of course, Riley, Rooney and Ginger are right here to help me. :-)

Wow! The top of my PC armoire seems to be that 'full' of various creatures, but I guess it would be called Halloween, where they are all dressed differently. That is wild, and inspirational, to say the least. It makes me think about making (thanks to eld6161) about a nurse mouse, a forest ranger, the possibilities are endless. THANK-YOU, ladies!!

My3dogs, your work is wonderful! Can't wait to see what you do with the clock. I had an idea that might work with your critters...wonder what you could do with old baby shoes--what might poke out of one with hints of what could be inside? Just musing aloud... eta, I looked at vintage shoes and they really don't match what I have in my head. The ones on eBay etc, look like old bowling shoes. So, never mind.

It sure is, Tina Marie! And just like you, I don't miss it a bit, although I was a tad adrift at first when that Monday rolled around and I didn't have to get up at 6 AM, but after a month or so, I was fully integrated into being retired. I had worked from home the last few years, and thankfully travel all over the country was over, but retirement is a wonderful reward! Yes, my cellar dweller is a gem. He is a carpenter, and had done work on the house probably 11 - 12 years ago now. He shared an apartment with a friend, but the friend was moving out. Jimmy (cellar dweller) loved the dogs that I had been then, which sadly are gone, but he loves the 3 rescues that I have now. They race to the door when he gets home from work, and he gets down on the kitchen floor for several minutes, as all three of them are so excited to see him, and they plaster him with kisses. Jimmy has even accompanied me on my occasional Sunday drives for New England Brittany Rescue (NEBR), where all of my current dogs came from. The dogs usually come up from the south, and this coming weekend, 2 are coming from Gaffney, SC to their foster home in Maine. I'm the last leg of the trip for them, and my 'leg' is about 75 miles round trip. My last several dogs have come from NEBR, and this is the current crew. L - R - Riley (12-ish), Ginger (approx.8) not a Brittany, but the smallest and the BOSS, and Rooney on the right, who is approx. 9 now. They make great cuddling each night! (Duh, click on the pic to enlarge it so Rooney on the right is visible!) He's a cutie, although they all are wonderful.
