American Idol (spoiler!!!!!!)

Now, why didn't he sing it like that last night???? It was 100x better this time. I listened to him, not looking at the tv and it sounded perfect. I didn't hear his voice crack or anything like it did last night.

I guess it was his time to go. I think the next one to go should be Lil Rounds. How about you?

I think it was his time and the judges did good by not using a save on him.

Yep, I agree. Lil Rounds should be next to get the boot.

Neither the rap singer nor Kellie Pickler were very good either IMO.

I know Lydia, they were both pretty awful. I don't know why they put some of the people on there that they do.

I liked Jesse Langseth better than Kris, but he sure is a cutie. Wonder who they will bring back. I also wonder if this new format is in any way an attempt to defeat the "Vote for the worst" clubs that keep people like Sanjaya in the competition for so long. They have their sights set on a guy comming up next week.

I was wondering the same about Big Mike. This news was reported a month ago, yet last nights show is live so he should've been gone. Hmmmmm! I wasn't overly impressed with last night as a whole. I love Casey. He's adorable and sings well. I just hope they don't continue the whole "kara has the hots for him" thing all season - it's going to get old. He almost looked like he wanted to laugh during his performance. I find it hard to take him seriously when they're joking about that. I also like Lee, I like his voice and seems very humble.

I was also very pleasantly surprised that a major star like Mark Anthony would on his own go volunteer to help them with their in ears, that was just awesome of him. Getting used to those things is extremely hard and if they are not set perfectly it can cause the singer to be very off or have a lot of diffucluty. You even see the big stars jerk them out of their ears if they are not set right. The previous years they never helped them and they kids this year said that no one told them anything about how to use them they just said here use these. I think both Mark Anthony and Jennifer are very down to earth nice real people, I have been very impressed. And Stephen is an absolute doll, he rarely ever will say anything hurtful he tries to word it so that it is constructive but not hurtful. Great judging and great tutoring this year. I swear I thought James was going to wet his pants when Hulk Hogan walked out! I can see someone getting hurt though with all the horse play at the mansion!!

I may buy Kelly Clarksons album. I don't think I've heard her sing country before. I have her first album, more rock than country. I was disappointed. I thought of the 3 of them, it would have been Stephano. I don't get why Hayley wasn't in the bottom 3. Two judges did not like her song yesterday at all. Sad to see Paul go. I'll miss that beautiful smile of his. But I didn't think he would win anyways. Go JAMES Go!

I think it was his time to go also.

When Kelli Pickler started I could not understand the
words to her song...I feel the same way when I hear
Taylor Swift...sure enough they wrote the song togather!

It takes me a lot of listening before I understand Taylor.
She is a pretty girl, but I just don't get it. I know
the young girls love her. I usually like Kellie.

I agree - think that it was Scott's turn to go. He DID do better tonight than he did last night, however. Thought that Kellie Pickler's song was screechy and didn't care for the rapper, either. I'm gettin' to be such an old fogey!! LOL

A rapper on American Idol somehow...just seems freaky. I've never heard of Kellie Pickler and don't remember her on A.I. But, I not one to be interested in Country Music.

Kelly just about ruined the opening Group Number. Her notes were off and screechy.

I think it might be down to Danny, Adam and Kelly. Of course I just don't see how Adam cannot win. But, I must add, I don't think it is fair that he is on there, since he has been on Broadway.

Gayle, I think you mean Allison too.

Remember last year there were 2 contestants (Michael Johns and Carly Smithson) who both had had prior record deals... but neither of them made it too far in the competition. Then there was David Archuleta who had won "Star Search" and ended up in the top 2. Adam may be on broadway, but I think it's still fair that he's in the competition. Having sang on broadway may even hurt some singers since AI is not looking for that 'type' of singer. It doesn't seem to be hurting Adam though because he is very creative and 'current'.

I hit mute because I didn't like either of them.

I think the judges were right in not using their save. I'll bet they are saving it for Allison.
