silversword, I checked out those links you provided. All provide erroneous information (in contradiction to accurate and reliable info provided by the Mayo Clinic). Two of your links go to supplement dealers' websites. Getting advice from them is like getting drug advice from a pharmaceutical company's site. Two articles are on general purpose sites, one written by an "ehow member", neither author apparently having any medical training. The other is an anonymous article on a cooking site. This illustrates the hazards of getting medical advice from the Internet. There are a slew of websites and articles promoting all kinds of products and treatments, by people with various levels of experience and training (or none at all) and with potential axes to grind that are not in accord with readers' best interesta. "Anyone who would take anyone's advice, including yours, without consulting someone who was qualified to give them personalized care would be foolhardy." I absolutely agree, and have said so on numerous occasions here (I have not given personal advice, but linked to a couple of reliable sites, one of which you also chose to reference). People are best off when they see the advice of a qualified physician or other practitioner that they trust, or go to websites that are known for providing reliable information. Yeah I think that member was from Sweden. The photos are under orchid growing areas in the Gallery section and they are the last set on the first page, a set of four terrariums side by side. The enclosures are not very large once you know the scale although some members have huge orchidariums. I just can't believe how professional the cylinder type terrariums came out and from such simple materials anyone can get at a Home Depot! I am going to leave this project for the fall or winter but I am seriously considering building something that can be automated with misters etc. for times when I am away, mounted plants don't like vacations. :( If you build it yourself it costs much less, had a medium sized one years ago but did not keep it when I moved because it was built too heavy and bulky and was not properly sealed to be water tight. Here's some more good stuff to remember: If you are choking on an ice cube, don't panic. Simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat and presto. The blockage will be almost instantly removed. Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape. Remember: Everyone seems normal until you get to know them. Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom. If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance. And finally, be really nice to your family and friends; you never know when you might need them to empty your bedpan.

The start of a lovely evening above :) Dave and Moni getting to know each other, sharing laughs, and awaiting food! We had the loveliest of times together, and have a deep appreciation for Moni's strength, insights, and "simple is simple" approach to life and travel. The needles were flying over the course of our evenings! Little did I know I'd end up with the results of Moni's handiwork.. see that dish cloth she's knitting? It's mine! 25c evening.. Moni was feeling a little chilled, and avoiding the mozzies she said ;) hence the long sleeves! Ole joyfulguy.. I haven't the faintest idea of Moni's agenda in the coming days, other than she left here this morning around 7:20, bound for a 5-6 hr ride to her next "Warm Showers" home stay, and was then off to ride the Toronto Waterfront Trail or some such. I don't know if Moni knows one minute to the next what her day is going to hold.. but she'll check on this thread over the course of travels I'm sure, and let us all know how she's getting on!
