I've had good experiences buying 100% cotton sheet sets at TJ Maxx. Great quality, and I've never paid more than $40. Plus nice deep pockets on the fitted sheets, which I need.

If you need cool, I would stick with cotton and stay away from the new microfiber (polyester) sheets.

I've been buying sheets from JCP. I've tried the Cindy Crawford 400tc, the reviews say your feet will rip them to pieces.....? They're thick & heavy. Wrinkle easily.

I like their 250 tc percale. Those are crisp, don't need ironed and cool. They have satin piping, no shrinkage, deep pockets. They retailed for $60/queen. I think Ross Dress For Less might have a better deal.

We're still sleeping on the flannel sheets.

I love 200-300 thread count cotton percale. They're cool and so comfortable and never pill the way high thread count sheets seem too. I got mine at Lands End, but I noticed some nice ones at BB&Beyond which I may try for a second set. Right now, we still have flannel sheets on the bed...it's still cool st night here in Ohio.

I loved my old Wamsutta cotton percales. They are cleaning rags now. I just had a flyer from BB&B saying they are starting to carry Wamsutta. I wonder if my percales could be available again? (I think they stopped making them because they lasted so long!)

Right now I'm using Kirkland 540 Thread Count Supima Cotton. I think they were $80 (King set). I've had them for over a year. Holding up well. Soft, but not too 'limp'; I'd like 'crisper'.

jersey sheets at target...like sleeping on a tee shirt and wicks moisture...

This is such a timely topic for me. DH made the bed this morning and there was a small tear where the top sheet is folded over and sewn.

Just a few days ago Penney's advertised 1000 count sheets, I am wondering about those.

What DH and I both need are pillows and a new mattress.

I bought a set of sheets for the RV a while back that I absolutely love and will definitely buy more when I find them. They are Beverly Hills Polo Club and are NOT microfiber.(I do not like microfiber) The feel of them is amazing and they launder beautifully. They are Egyptian cotton. I sleep hot and these sheets feel so cool and comfortable. They are not crested sheets they do not have the Polo crest on them they are solid, the ones I got are a dark sage green.
I have had very good luck finding very high quality name brand sheets at Tuesday Morning for great prices. That is not where I got the Polo sheets, I can not for the life of me remember where I got them and I want more.
I also have bought some great pillows at Tuesday Morning. The store here near me always has great products.

We need the fitted sheets with 20" pockets and they're not easy to find. Did a Google search and ended up with 400tc Egyptian cotton sheets which hubs and I both really like.
