My turn to vent

I'm usually fairly laid back, but I've bawled off and on all day.

First of all we have had so much trouble with our new fireplace insert. It's been going on for months and the guy has not been good about his work. Finally after we threatened lawsuit he has decided to put in a new unit. You can't depend on him coming when he says he will, etc. You get the picture, a real pita! Of all days he and the crew decide to come today to take out the bad unit and replace it with another one, it would be today, the day that I had arranged to get some landscaping done in front and of course there's dirt everywhere and the fireplace guys are tracking it in.

On top of everything else going on, my house was swarming with Termites!! I called the bug guy and he also came out. They can't get to it until Friday and the foundation of my house will have to have around 200 holes drilled in it to put the chemicals in. That is going to cost around $2,500.

Anyway, none of this stuff is a big deal, but I guess it all happened to fall on the same day and threw me for a loop. If I had any hormones left I'd blame the tears on that! My problems are nothing compared to problems that some people have to bear.

Oh I forgot that the fireplace guys only took out the old unit and decided not to put the new one in until tomorrow, so the only thing between me and the outside critters is a flimsy piece of temporary plywood. Wouldn't you know this would happen after I'd just read about someone on here or the decorating forum, I've forgotten which, has racoons in their chimney! LOL
