What do you think of these Calcutta marble slabs?
Comments (38)Breathtakingly beautiful slabs! These marble shower walls should be the focal point of the bathroom and the rest of the room understated. I, too, support the suggestions of using a relatively simple white floor with grey grout (instead of a white hex, what about rectangular white tile set on a diagonal herringbone pattern?), either dark wood or a warm grey for the cabinets, and definitely installing the marble so that the pattern is vertical. Your bathroom will be stunning!...See MoreBath paint ideas to match Calcutta marble?
Comments (3)I noticed your question while I was looking for a different subject. I recently did our kitchen remodel design and I was also looking for a soft grey wall paint to coordinate with stainless steel appliances & calacatta prima (soft grey & white) tile. I finally settled on SW "Paper White" - a really clean grey, not greenish or muddy....See MoreCalcutta Marble
Comments (2)Lots of folks with Calcatta: ours is honed. Etches like crazy. We love it. Rather than reiterate the same pros and cons yet again, do a search on marble countertops and you'll get more opinions than you'd ever want....See MoreCalcutta Marble... laminate advice appreciated!
Comments (4)Hi Lena! We decided to ask a member of our Design Team if they had an answer to your question. Here is what she had to say "Have you considered a white small, hexagonal tile with a light grey grout? That would tie in the Calcutta Marble look and the Satin Stainless very nicely. The white subway tile would do the same thing but in a more traditional way! I’m hesitant on the green glass tile. That’s introducing a color, albeit a subtle color, in a manner that is permanent. You have to really love that color! The same would go for the idea of back painting a clear glass tile, it’s very permanent." Hope this helps you in your quest to a fabulous kitchen!...See Morehuango
