As you probably already know, there's American Granite in Freehold on Park Avenue, but I wasn't impressed. I've gone to Benchmark in Lakewood several times now and I haven't been disappointed. I feel they really do a quality job and I was very pleased with the 'free' sink. I found them several years ago after I exhausted all the granite yards in Monroe, Jackson and other places which existed then. Benchmark also carries Silestone and other lines. NAYY....

I know 2 people who used Benchmark. One a river rock type granite, and the other silestone. Both were thrilled with the work done, and they each have beautiful countertops. It's who I plan to use. Someday!

If New Brunswick isn't too far for you, I can highly recommend Stone Surfaces of Central NJ.

We used them because they did such nice work at our neighbor's and were glad we did.

We looked at All Granite and Marble in S. Plainfield and likely would have gone with them but they didn't have the exact color we were looking for. Huge selection, good prices and multiple locations. I can't vouch for the workmanship, though.

I've also heard great things about Stone Surfaces in New Brunswick, NJ.

I have been pleased with Flemington Granite on Rt. 202 in Flemington.

Called Benchmark....they don't carry Silestone. Any other recommendations for a Silestone Fabricator? Prefer not to deal with Home Depot.

I could have sworn that Benchmark carried Silestone, but if they don't they do carry one of the others....Caesarstone or zodiac.

I know for a fact that they did carry it in the past. Odd that they don't now. I think if you go to the silestone website you can find a local dealer. Then check in with gardenweb on recommendations for those dealers.

Well, I'm back and now getting estimates for Quartz Countertops (looking at Caesarstone and Zodiaq now). I had Benchmark in. Benchmark quoted me almost 7500 while another company quoted me 4500. It seems I have about 64 sq ft of countertops between my kitchen and bathrooms. The Benchmark price seems rather high. So, I'm back to getting more estimates, so other recommendations for Central NJ would be highly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
