Trying a new sauce for the ham

I checked out Joy of Cooking's recommendation for a sauce for the ham, and the only sauce they recommended is Cumberland Sauce, which is served cold. So though I bake my hame with fruit and honey and juices on it, I made the sauce to try tomorrow. It is made with shredded zest of a lemon and orange, 1/2 cup of red currant jelly, port, ginger, lemon juice, bit of powdered sugar, Dijon mustard, pepper, and I think that's it.

I'll reserve judgement if I will ever make it again till I taste it tomorrow and see what the adult kids think. They have morphed from kidlets who want only the plainest of foods to liking sauces and all sorts of things. Among them is a less venturesome son-in-law and future DIL who does not like meat, fruit, lots of veggies, etc. She devours my Thanksgiving dinner every year, so we will see how she likes my ham dinners. I am making her favorite vegetables, frenched green beans almondine.
