Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone! Busy day yesterday and it ended up being a late evening for me. EJ, I missed leap year by nine hours or so. Pork and peanut butter...two of my favorite things but not together. LOL The office crew took good care of me with doughnuts in the morning and a cake later in the day from Ann's Bakery in Tulsa. She/the bakery are very well known for wonderful baked treats. Dinner out with family and a couple of friends. Went to my favorite steak house. Surf and turf for me. Friends talked me into going to a little hole in the wall place that we like and we stayed out way to late. Spent the night at a friends as he lives around the corner. It's taking some time to get going this morning..LOL! The best thing that happened was hearing from Justin over the weekend. He posted a short note and a link to a short video on his face book page and was able to make a short five minute phone call to his DM. WOO HOO!!! The last time we heard from him was the third week of January. Communications with him have been very hit and miss since he left. He told us he should be stationary for the most part now and they are expecting hot showers by next week...there first. Thanks again! Have to get back to work now. David

Thanks all! A little birdie told me that I was lost but not forgotten so I checked in and here you all were, just where I left you. We started celebrating my birthday in CT on Thursday and spent Sunday with the kiddies where DSIL made a super brunch while DD nursed her nausea. Poor thing. She is something, that daughter of ours. For 4 1/2 years, she has been pregnant or nursing and now it will be another 2 + years before she owns her own body again. That is, if they stop at 3. The grands are ages 16+ down to 2 years. The twins will be 5 in August. That's hard to believe. Anyway, I am doing my usual stuff: I am back on the DOROT board after a two year leave. I had foot surgery in October so I was slowed down for quite a while and have PT twice a week. I've been knitting a lot once more. Cooking has taken a back seat to other stuff but I do crank out a meal a few times a week. I will be checking in from time to time. Thanks for the greetings. Bubbe

Hi Teresa, there you are! :) Doc is talking about induction at 38 weeks (which for me is April 23rd) which means I might have the baby on April 24th! Which I might mention is also my mom and uncle's birthday's. My blood pressure has been fluctuating greatly going from very high to normal limits over the span of the day. Bed rest doesn't work, we tried that over the weekend and it still went wonky. We have no clue why, but I have been to the hospital 4 times for a non-stress test and baby is fine, as well as the ultrasounds--good fluid levels--and no protein in my urine, so preeclampsia isn't here...yet. And oh, yes, I'm still working! People keep asking when my last day is and I tell them "when the baby comes out." I can't take the extra leave, so I just sit all day and teach from my desk chair in the front of the room. My due date (40 weeks) is May 7th, and I was hoping to make it to May 1st, as I want our boy to have a different birthday from the rest of the family, so I'll shoot for May 1, if they'll let me! And if one more person tells me "You're about to pop," I'm going to pop them! Going in for another Ultrasound tomorrow to check the fluid and BP again. More bloodwork and urine collection...the joys of pregnancy!
