Whoopsie, I posted about the same time you did! Didn't see yours!

    "Jumping Ship"
No one is safe heading into tribal council with two swing votes hanging in the balance; a formidable villain makes a potential miscalculation.

Can't believe that Sandra did what she did! Glad what happened to Russell happened. Next week should be good!

lol Mayflowers, I think that's one of the reasons I like Christian. I hope he does make it to the end, he's my favorite currently. I didn't care for the vote either, not so much that I thought Lyrsa was playing a good game, I just don't care for Angelina's game. The sooner she gets to Ponderosa, the sooner she can stop whining about a(nyone else's) jacket.

Keith should have just gone home. He is too immature and soft for this game. I understand if you can't swim, but he's freaking 19 years old and couldn't climb that fence without help. When they were pulling that snake under the obstacle he literally was rolling in the sand beside it, doing nothing! I'm starting to wonder if that little girl knows exactly what she's doing. Making herself unlikeable, a villian already. They'll keep her because of that! I really wish Wentworth would go. I like Joe, and David also, but I wouldn't keep any of the returns. That guy hung himself. Should have kept his mouth shut. So far I am not a fan of Wardog. So our family has made their selections. Daughter Amanda picked Rick DH Randy picked Gavin Son Nick picked Lauren Son-in-law Nick picked Wentworth!!!!! I (Kathy) picked Eric.

I agree - snooze fest so far. I still have no clue what most of their names are. The buff switch meant to switch things up did absolutely nothing! I kinda liked the guy voted out - would've preferred the girl who wasn't feeling well but she really didn't want to go. I thought maybe with their love fest going on she'd volunteer to get out of there. lol

Well, that darn Tiffany is still around. She is really playing a mind game. I honestly dont understand why people don’t use their idols and why give away an advantage?

I thought Sandra was a fool, BUT...........
They would not have been able to vote Russell out anyway........ And this way she has "saved-face" with Russell. He should be thinking that she is still with him. Sandra is the only one in the whole game that is not playing for an alliance --She is playing for herself, ONLY! I think that is smart, unless they catch on.

After all that --Next week the feathers are really going to hit the fan!!!
Even so I can hardly beleive Russell is still there. It was fun to see him waste the idol.

This would be a good time for the girls to take over and clear out the men.

Sandra was smart, there was no sense in switching over to the Heroes when they didn't have the votes, that would have cooked her goose for sure. Candace made a big mistake in taking that opportunity to flip, IMO, simply because Russell isn't going to take her to the end if he has the chance. He thinks he can beat Sandra at a final vote, because "she's weak". Yeah. She's so weak, she won a million dollars that last time. I find her frank and brutal honesty to be so refreshing. When she was trying to pin Candace down last night and Candace was lying her butt off, it made Sandra look good and she's smart enough to know when she's being lied to, by Candace.

Geez, Colby is a wuss. And so was Amanda, when it came to the "fight" for the clue- that was embarrassing to watch and then to run to Colby to make the decision? Pretty pointless, he didn't want to be the arbiter of that one. He should have walked over, taken it and read it out loud. And then Danielle lied to her group about how she got it back, she didn't tell them they went running to Daddy. I would have laughed if Amanda had just decked Danielle. Girl fights are so lame. There's something about Danielle I really don't like, I can't put my finger on it, but I find her annoying. Why the Heroes didn't dog Danielle's and Russell's every step, I do not understand. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I laughed so hard when Russell beat Danielle to the idol, that was classic Russell. I'm kind of sorry he wasted it, though, especially when Parvati berated him for it. She wasted one, too, if she'll recall, by giving it to Sandra.

I loved the look on Parv's face when she started getting votes, though, that was great.

Some days it's hard to pick out who makes the stupidest moves. Colby, Danielle, and Amanda were all dunces. Parvarti and Russell both deserve to win. They are playing the smartest. I guess Sandra would be my third choice because she has some good moves too.

I disagree that Russell and Parvarti wasted their idols. For instance, Parvarti had let it be known that she had an idol through her actions. The Heroes knew Russell had an idol because they gave it to him and Danielle had won immunity so that left left Jerri and Sandra as the potential targets. Last night Russell could have been a target so it was smarter to play the idol rather than go home with it in his pocket.

Sandra said,"She made the move to switch because of Candace.". So yes she is playing to get an alliance. She stayed with the villians because Candace voted with the villians. She told Candace, I'm doing this for you.

Sandra is using what she's got to work with. Cool!

Amanda should have kept the clue. :0)

More interesting each week. Amazing how Russell seems to stay in the game with so many people that don't trust him.

Am I the only one who likes Amanda? Maybe I'm more judging them on people I'd like to know in life rather than their game playing. Russell scares me.

I think Amanda is beautiful. She is so pretty on the show with her natural look. The finales are always a letdown because the girls wear so much makeup. She might be nice as a person.

Parvarti bothers me because she is so good at using charm to be so manipulative. That is a character trait that bothers me about people in real life.

I didn't have a problem with Russell at first because I thought his actions were directly related to the game. After watching that last finale, I suspect that is how he is and he talks about people in real life. He is an excellent payer and has good strategy, but I wouldn't want to do business with him.

    Candace is evil.
    Amanda was a dimwit.
I can't stand Parvati or Danielle.

A perfect season!! :-) Lot of people I love to hate!

once again amanda was a whimp for giving the clue back to fake*boobies*with*a*visible*center*seam .......er, I mean danielle. danielle was dumb enough to lay it on the floor for anybody else to "find", and amanda found it. amanda has never been able to stand up for herself - remember her painfully whimpy performance that lost her the title before?

russell is the closest thing i've ever seen to a human snake. yes he is a great player - give him the title and maybe he'll be happy. i kinda think he's never happy at anything in life unless he's the winner and he just put the screws to somebody to come out on top.

parvati gives real women a bad name, having to use that sex kitten act to put people under her spell to get what she wants. perfect match for russell if you ask me - the 2 of them deserve each other. they could happily live out their life by trying to constantly 'one up' the other one.

poor candace, what a pathetic wuss.
and sandra? what a girl with b@!!$ ......... i hope she takes it all ........ again.

This is a cut and paste of a post on the Survivor website by someone called Hazzard77. It expresses my feelings exactly on how well Russell is playing.

Russell did what he had to do, if he did not play the idol and went home with it in his pocket you all would be screaming from the mountain tops what an idot he was for not playing the idol.

That idol may not have saved Russell from a vote at TC, but it saved him from BEING voted for at TC, plus he got the added mileage of turning Candice away from the heroes.

The heroes were Candice, Colby, Amanda, and Rupert + Sandra flipping.

This episode was all Russell, come on, like him or hate him, at least be honest and give him credit where credit is due.

Russell single-handedly turned the 5 strong heroes(counting Sandra) into... TWO PEOPLE!!!

Because of what Russell did, the heroes now consist of Colby and Rupert, those two now will NOT trust Candice OR Sandra.

That was the beauty of Russell's strategy, he has done it time and again, get somebody to talk about betraying their alliance, and the make sure their alliance knows about it so they are outted and have no place to turn but to Russell for protection.

That is why Russell went straight to Sandra, he want's to be the only one going to TC feeling comfortable so he makes sure that everyone else is nervous and unsure about what's going on, when you make people lose confidence in their alliances and decisions, they panic and do what they think will get them through one more TC.

Russell does this by telling them things like he told Sandra even before he knew Sandra was flipping, he suspected it was a possibility so he preempted it by telling her that he has some heroes flipping so no matter how she voted it wouldn't matter.

What does that do? It makes Sandra nervous, she told Russell "why you tryin' to scare me, I'm not scared", BULL, she was scared. Before that she was certain that her and the heroes had a slam-dunk TC to get rid of Russell, but Russell got in their heads, made them scared and unconfident.

When a person feels that way they have two choices, stay the course and likely be against the majority, or vote with what they think is the majority, even if it's not what they want, just to remain in the game for three more days.

Russell makes them choose the path they hate to save their own a$$, and they hate him for it.

I didn't see Parvati do a damn thing this episode except disrespect Russell, "you just wated one"? I don't think so little miss smart-a$$, if Russell sat around sure of himself like Parvati then she would have been going home, not Amanda.

People here say that they want a player that can vote people off and have those people saying "what a great guy", REALLY?
That's what you consider a great person?

Here's the difference, the person you speak of is the type of person that has the ability to be so two-faced as to make you believe they are really your friend, and that they only cut your throat because it's just a game, do you really want to have friends that are so good at this that you don't even know if they really are your friend?

Russell will lie to you because it's the game, but when he cuts your throat he doesn't continue to lie to you, and continue to act like he is your friend and tell you he is sorry, no, he tells you the truth, that you just got owned and you were a fool to have believed him. That's the kind of people I respect.

Unfortunately most people prefer pretentious friends.
