My #1 favorite is black gospel. Anyone else familiar w/ Gospel at Colonus? I haven't heard kd lang for a few years now, but she had one of the best voices around, when you're talking pure vocal talent. Did anyone see her on the Grammys awhile back when she did Roy Orbison's "Crying"? Blew the roof off. As for Brokeback (Keith, rest in peace), my theory - a lot of straight guys are comforted by Queer Eye, etc. and uneasy about Brokeback because (shudder) in the movie, YOU CAN'T TELL BY LOOKING if a guy's gay. If that guy's gay and looks like a "regular" guy, and EYE look like a regular guy..... well, we gotta keep that trash away from the young people. :) DH is in an original heavy rock/light metal band and also in a rock cover band, so I hear loads of that music and like lots of it. qylliam - The Chieftans - are you talking about the Irish group? I got to hear them one time in concert. They were great. Anyone else familiar w/ Sweet Honey in the Rock? A capella group that does original music, black gospel, reggae, etc. Arthur, many of the band names are new to me, too. What genre is Cake? "Classic" country is terrific - Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline - rarely the crossover stuff. Some bluegrass. Shady Character - who does Bollywood *style*? haven't really watched many music videos since the early 80's on mtv... don't remember many either!! even tho i wasn't a michael jackson fan, i seem to remember some of his videos most(thriller, billy jean, etc)maybe they played them alot??? also remember a couple of genesis videos...(misunderstanding in particular) my kids showed me one a couple of years ago which was very cool (don't know if it was FF) that had the band in protective clothes and googles and it was a whole series of ball/s (i think)going on a mousetrap like course and ended with colorful paint getting dumped on all of them... very clever... i don't have time to search for it, but does it ring a bell with anyone?? it's a worthwhile view!!

I only watch CaliKim29 because she is easy on my eyes. I don't agree with most of her garden methods, and I've seen too many garden myths used. Some pointless and some just wrong to garden health. I prefer one yard revolution. He doesn't endorse any product, encourages you to use all free resources, no chemicals. He researches info, applies it, looks at the results. He's currenty working toward a do NOTHING garden, well, as little as possible work with great results. Podcast: You Bet Your Garden. Former editor of Organic Gardening Magazine. Takes your fascinating phone calls and has an interesting question of the week he throughly answers. Interesting personality. I couldn't find any other garden podcast that i could bear to listen too.

You really have not much to use to try it for your family -- it's cancellable at any time. But you have a limited number of channels (I'm not a big sports fan, so I didn't add those); and you have to wait to load each episode separately -- not easy to switch channels, for instance. Just clunky, apart from the delivery speed. I think it's a decent service; I just didn't think it was worth it for me in the end for the amount I was watching it.
