I hope it cost those lawyers a bundle

Now that they dropped the lawsuit against Taco Bell, I hope those slimeball lawyers in Alabama that can't get legitimate clients have spent a fortune digging their way out of a massive countersuit. Taco Bell shouldn't have let them off the hook AFAIC. It's morons like this that raise prices for everyone and make businesses suffer needlessly. And the dumb broad plaintiff got her 15 minutes of fame at the expense of a business and I wouldn't shed a tear if she choked on her hot dog tonight. I have a sneaking suspicion that she's a Taco Bell Customer. Maybe they didn't "treat her right" and this was a way to get back at them.

AFAIC lawyers filing such blatently sham suits should be prosecuted criminally, disbarred of course and required to pay all expenses, including lost business for the people they damaged.

People gripe about the cost of things but don't take into account these "incidental" expenses that are totally needless.

And isn't it interesting how quiet it is about the settlement? Sure doesn't make the headlines that fraudulent sensationalism does.

As I said in the other thread about it, some Alabama law firm seems to have trouble getting legitimate clients.
