Looking for a BOM site

Back last year (or maybe farther back than that), someone posted a link to a site that had a Block of the Month going. I really liked some of the blocks that were posted but now I can't find the website.

I have decided to try a BOM this year and was looking for that site. I think it was Sharon (geezerfolks) that posted it but can't be positive about that.

Actually, it doesn't matter what site it is as long as the blocks aren't too complicated (no applique or paper-piecing). Do you have a favorite site that does BOMs? I would appreciate you sharing the info.

I got the pattern for grandson's wedding quilt from Block Central. It was the most recent of their BOM's. I am wondering if they are still active because the final post for that quilt never appeared but since it was borders and sashing, I was able to finish. The earlier quilts have all the instructions.

I was at Walmart on Friday, so I picked up a table cloth. I think I'll need 2, but I'll try this one to see how it does. Jayne, that heart you pointed out was one of my least favorite that I did. I really got tired of all those inside curves. Even though they are easier than outside curves, it got old, really fast! The BA class I took used Elly's, Baltimore Beauties and Beyond, Volume 1. It really is good at showing the basics and builds on them so you get a good understanding of how to do the blocks. I had a good teacher, too.

g'day spearboy, long time no see around the traps hey? dunno maybe there's something in that gold coast water or have you gone away from growing vegetables hey lol? if that cyclone (it's currently heading sth/west at a great rate of knots) over there in the north/west indian ocean came our way maybe just maybe, there is a cloud system in the north west of wa but latley i've seen them come and seen them slide all the way down into nsw. for me i won't be holding me breath, for your floods or much rain of any sort. there's a low in the gulf but it won't form into a cyclone it doesn't have the monsoonal trough with it. also a trough attached to a cold front down south moving across this end of the state but of late we don't even get the odd storm behind the troughs anymore must have upset the gods somehow or other. so far since december we are around 590mm down in rainfall comapred to the previous same season, that's a lot of missing water. len

Geraldine, This guild has a list of past blocks....some are traditional and some are fun.

Quilt Arts Forum on Delphi has a list also. The 2000 blocks are various log cabins.....I enjoyed that one.

I have a few bookmarked, but here is one that doesn't look very complicated. I'm working on one from another site, but I won't bother with it since it is hand applique.

That's the one I'm working on, Robbi. I got behind at Thanksgiving time, but it shouldn't take long to catch up.

The Missouri Star Quilt Co. has one also. There are two blocks each month. There's a tutorial you can watch at their wesite:www.missouristarquiltco.com

The site I was thinking about is the one posted by Donna...the one from the Florida Cabin Fever Guild.

I am going to spend some time today looking through all the BOMs.
