On to sealing precast pavers for patio

Thanks again to everyone for help with my deck issue. I think I'm going the safe route with Ipe deck tiles in a smaller area. Less risk!

Now, we are in the middle of constructing a pool, and I've already selected 1" thick, 36" square precast concrete pavers for my patio and 2 x 15's for my coping. I'm going bonkers with all the products out there for sealing.

Can anyone offer opinions on which products are best? I don't want gloss, or to change the color in any way. Slip resistance would come in to play as well. Understanding that there are 2 types in general..penetrating and film-forming. I'm confused and overwhelmed by the range.

I've looked at Surebond (recommended by installers, but they normally work with the thick, interlocking paver types)

I've also come across something called 511 Impregnator.

I tried doing searches here and other forums, but am not having any luck.

Any input is always appreciated. :) Thanks!

Karin
