Julie's Wet Burritos again....love them and have a couple left from the weekend. Also have some asparagus quiche left over, but think I'll pass on that. It was good, but can't beat the burritos!

Glenda: You always have such interesting foods when you go out. In my very small town, if I ate out every day, it wouldn't take long to go through all the menus of the local restaurants. But it would all be good food.

Schoolhouse, are you vegetarian? We try to eat meatless at least once a week, but we don't eat much meat anyway. If you have recipes you really like, I'd sure be happy if you could post them.

Phyllis, aren't those burritos the best ever? The recipe makes so many I froze them in 2's and I've been out for a while now. Need to make more.

Kat, I've never eaten a fish taco. What kind of fish do you use? Fried? Corn or flour tortillas?

I have a mini stuffed meatloaf, stuffed with purple onion, garlic, cheese and mushrooms cooking. Also doing Oven roasted red potatoes with onion and parsley. And steamed fresh Brussels sprouts. I am looking forward to dinner tonight, with every thing that has been going on lately I have not had much of an appetite.

pattie43, no not vegetarian. Just trying to eat lighter and a little less as summer comes approaches. Altho I was vegetarian for four years in the 1990's and I must say I felt really good and had lots of energy. It wasn't that hard at all but one day I realized I missed bacon, then it was a cheeseburger. Well, there went the all veggie diet. Today I still don't eat much red meat other than hamburger in recipes and an occasional Mickey D's(!) . I do eat lots of fish and some chicken.

Susanjf, have you ever tried the wet burritos Phyllis mentioned above? If I understand correctly, it's a Michigan "thing". They are so, so good and the recipe makes 10 big ones!

Schoolhouse, bacon will getcha' every time! Just the smell of it cooking is wonderful! We eat a lot of chicken, too. And fish, but it's so darned expensive fresh. We do like our veggies, but we have to watch Harry's "green stuff". He's on Coumadin.

It was clean out the fridge day. I sat everything on the counter that needed eaten. There was pickled eggs and beets, chinese cabbage salad, pasta salad, warm potato salad, seven layer vegetable salad, ham loaf and spiral sliced ham, grilled asparagus, cookies, and birthday cake. We cleaned it up.
