I am in the process of having a screen porch built. The concrete patio for the screened porch was poured two days ago. Yesterday, we had a rain shower for approximately 35 minutes which left a water puddle on the newly poured concrete. The water puddle was from 1/2 to 1 inch deep and half the size of the concrete patio. The patio is located under full sun; however, after 24 hours the water did not dissipate.

Since I live on the southeast coast where we experience lots of blowing rain showers, I would like to know if this needs to be corrected before the screened porch is built
