Lunch today....

There wasn't anything here "lunchy" to eat...I had a half pkg. of ground beef in the freezer.

I thawed it out browned it as loose meat and cooked it like the those sandwiches the Pioneer Woman Cooks. The one made with cubed steak.

I browned it put the worchestershire sauce, Lawry's Seasoning, and hot sauce. And cooked some onions in butter. Denny ate his on bread. I wrapped my in a burrito wrap. That was really good.

Yummy...I should of gone to your house for lunch!

I had a peanut butter and raspberry sandwich for lunch, a small bag of carrots and an apple. Now I want a huge piece of chocolate!

Okiedoke, I'm not sure what a groupon is. A girl that a co-worker dated for a while worked there, and he kept telling us the sandwiches were really good so we decided to try them. We'd tried to go there before, but parking is so limited (unless you want to walk a couple of blocks) that we usually couldn't find a place close to park. I much prefer bruschetta to BLT, especially if the bread is grilled. Did you brush the bread with olive oil before grilling? I usually use a mixture of butter, olive oil, and garlic. I finally have a tomato plant that is growing well ( as well as a few basil plants), and so I should be able to make this with home-grown ingredients in another month or two. I get tomatoes late in the season, but I get a long season. We have a cherry tomato plant growing in the ground, and it is doing a lot better than the tomatoes I have started from seed in pots. One seedling is doing fairly well, but I am afraid to transplant it yet. The cherry tomatoes do very well in my soil here, and the last plant I had growing next to the grape vine lived for over a year and produced lots of tomatoes throughout January, although they were fairly small. I should check the Farmers' Market in Playa Vista tomorrow for tomatoes! Lars

Glenda, I'm 74 and I woud find it amusing if I overheard a conversation like that. We all know people that are 'old' at 60! They walk like an old person, they talk like an old person and they think like an old person. Age is a state of mind. Exercising and keeping active keeps you young. I'm still walking five miles a day or eighteen holes of golf and I know people a lot younger than me that cannot do that. You're doing water aerobics, weights, etc. You go girl. Just laugh it off. Don't you remember when you were a teenager and thinking that 35 was old?

hmmmmm, I don't see any wrong with what he said. I am my mother a lot :o) And when I saw the above on Facebook, it made me laugh. Thinking someone else might as well. No lunch today...had a late breakfast at the hotel in Atlantic city....Eggs Benedict, my favorite.

I only ate brunch, chicken soft taco with no cheese, only lettuce (premade salad with a mix of lettuces and carrots actually) and a little mild salsa, and some organic baked chips. Having the same right now for dinner. I may go get some grapes here in a minute too.

Organic cream of tomato soup with some leftover chicken, half a green pepper and some frozen organic corn..heated through...sprinkle of cheese on top..

Working on dinner right now..
Browning Natural ground beef, set water on to boil brown rice noodles, need to grate mozzarella and Parmesan cheese

Toss all together in 9x13 to bake for a quick on the run dinner before baseball..if hungry when we get home, they can reheat so more. :o)

I had Chicken Noodle Soup and an Antibiotic for Lunch! Followed by Activia.

I have no idea what I'm having for Dinner. I'd be happy with Chicken Noodle Soup and FF Grilled Cheese on Sugar Free Whole Grain Wheat Bread.
