It's pretty easy once you know what has to be done... First you have to get the image onto the internet somehow- I have a couple servers so I just put the picture I want to show on one of mine and post the link. You can search for free image host and use one of those.. Or email it to one of us who has a server. (easier for you to find your own "hosting" tho as I'm not always around to post pics for folks) Once you get space on a server somewhere, put your image on it (it's called "uploading") then you can use the "Optional Link URL:" below to post a link to the image, or write some HTML code to make the image pop up here. For example, if I wanted to post first I would upload it, then I would go look at it in my browser, then copy the URL of where it is. THe URL of this example is: http://krstofer.org/plants/passiflorasunburst.jpg (It's what's in the "location" field at the top of your browser) Then if I wanted to make the image appear here I'd type (img src="location of your image ") which in this example would be (img src="http://krstofer.org/plants/passiflorasunburst.jpg") NOTE: You have to change the ( and ) to respectively to make the image appear- I had to use the () to "trick" the forum into showing the code rather than looking for an image somewhere... And when you've done all correctly you should be able to see your image in the "preview" section of your post, and when your done the image should pop up: Just like that.

Carol - I use the free photobucket and it works fine! It is much easier than Webshots. I switched over last year. All you have to do is copy the ULR info to post an attachment or the TAG to post the pic directly into your post. The ULR and TAGs are in little boxes so you've just have to copy and paste. I like easy :)

as Owbist said system restore is a very simple easy to do thing and is not to be scared of, nothing like reformatting at all it just takes your pc back to the date you choose and it is totally reversible if you see that it did not help just tell it to reverse it. YOU must enforce these rules with her now or simply refuse to allow her access to YOUR pc. If she can not treat it properly she should not be using it. NOT removing a usb item using that properly remove icon can damage your pc badly and it can RUIN her dear precious ipod. So if she likes that ipod she had better learn now or she will be holding a doorstop one day instead of her ipod. AND I would with out a doubt set her up a limited user account and allow her to ONLY use that account on the pc, set up all your admin accounts with passwords that she would not know so she could not gain access to them. Did you try using other usb ports and a different cable? Am I the only one who can't see anything when a picture is uploaded sideways or blurry? Blurry is easy - take another pic. If your picture is sideways you can fix this a couple ways. 1. Ask a teenager or grandchild for help. or 2. If your pic is on your computer and you are using Windows there are several picture viewers that are used since I am not familiar with each viewer I will simply say 'Open' the pic you will upload in your viewer to see how the pic looks. IF it is sideways (or upsidedown) look for a clockwise or counterclockwise arrow to rotate the pic then save it. Pic must be saved the way you want to view it when uploaded. Phones also have this "rotate" arrow in the viewer. When all else fails there is an "Edit" feature so YOU can Edit your own post should you need to remove and upload again. HTH
