Thanks for the ID's PG and CactusM!! I had the Echeveria in full sun up until the last month or so...our temps have been in the 90's and above, so I've moved it in bright indirect south wall for now to give it a little shelter from the brutal sun. That last picture had a bloom spike(the flowers have sinced died off) I think it was white? You can see that long thin spike on the plant. I wonder if I should cut it off now that the flowers have died?

re: galvalume. this is my post of july 23, which i'm sending to you fyi. "we just finished lining the ceiling of our glassed-in porch and also underneath our overhanging eves with galvalume (galvanized corrugated aluminum). (it's not on top of the roof -- you look up at it). it's reminiscent of the old corrugated iron shed roofs, but really beautiful. however, it has developed hundreds of whitish/gray spots, which look like a venting/condensation problem, although the spots do not rub off like dried cloudy condensation spots usually do. it's brand new, so i don't think it's corrosion, although who knows? the spots run along near the wall of the house, about a foot wide, exactly where the old soffit was. this is occurring on the galvalume under the eves, but not the galvalume on the sunroom ceiling. (i think the sunroom ceiling, which is 10'x20', has more space above it and the air moves around more, so there's no venting issue.) i looked at the mfg. website (U. S. Steel), which says that "storage stain" can occur if the materials are stacked without ventilation, causing white or black spots. maybe it's related? (the mfgr. does not warranty the materials if the area is not vented properly) the GC and the architect are coming out to look at it next week. when the galvalume went up, it was spotless and beautiful. does anyone have any experience with this? I would like to get some information before meeting with the builder. THANKS."

Hi, I have been thinking about this thread. I think it was the spring swap that got confusing because we had about 5 threads going at the same time about it and you had to check all of them to figure out what information was posted where. I also noticed that the NH swap tried switching to the Exchange and only had about 3 posts to that thread since opening it and people kept posting to the Discussions thread. None of the other swap threads have 90+ threads, so they can continue to use the Discussion threads to talk about who is bringing what and what time it is and how to get there etc. and leave the exchange thread just for wants and haves. I don't have the patience either to copy/paste all the relevant information to a new post. So since I started the thread, I will open a new thread, on the Discussion list this morning. It will simply say Eastern MA Fall Swap 2005 Continued. If people want to continue to post everything to this thread that is fine, if someone would prefer seperating out the wants/haves to an Exchange thread feel free to start a thread there. At least we will then have only two threads going basically. Ready, set, go.. :-)

Just wanted to update and thank all who helped me. Long story short-decided on BM Spring Thaw and had the painter paint a swatch..we were a little concerned about it being too minty but my husband was DONE with the paint color discussion. We had the painter do just a gallon before ordering all the paint (he had the paint color matched) and noticed that a) the mix was not quite the same as the BM Spring Thaw and b) we liked it alot better!! It was a cross between November Rain (which looked too yellowy) and Spring Thaw (a touch too blue) So we have an unnamed color on our wall but we love the way it looks and hopefully, if need be, it can be matched again! Thanks for all your help! We are walking on sunshine!!
