Thanks. I don't comment on fixtures often, but I do have to say I think the Memoirs is a lovely sink. The sink itself is large, the wide rim I absolutely love, and it has a good-sized bowl. It is indeed a nice sink. We had the same feelings over the backsplash. We went back and forth between painted wood or teak. I thought the teak backsplash would make the Memoirs pop more due to contrast, but my wife didn't want too much wood grain in the room. So we did painted wood which I topped with a teak cap. If my wife ever did want teak, I told her I'd simply glue a teak veneer over the painted wood. It's still painted. That run of cabinetry changed a couple of times during the design process. It was originally going to be a spacious 2-sink vanity. My wife really insisted on one sink! So that freed up space for the floor-to-ceiling storage closet on the left and what we call the "toilet pantry" on the right. The design has worked quite well for us over the years, I built it around 15 years ago. My daughter, who was 7 or 8 years old at the time, designed the profile for the toe kick cutouts. That was quite a bit of fun "working" with her. If you go in another direction, no worries. Choose what works best for you.

We have scheduled templating for next week for Black Pearl leathered countertops with an eased edge. I would like to have the seam at the center of the sink. What products and process should I use not only for the seams, but also for the stainless undermount sink? Suggestions for front edge corner radius? Also after countertop installation I am considering installing a HUSH for support of our single bowl undermount sink. The website for the HUSH shows how to install with various sinks, but not for a single bowl, center drain. Suggestions?

It's LG Hausy Quartz Minuet. I think I AM overthinking. So far the people I have asked said that you don't jut out countertops into a 5 point juncture walkway to accommodate one stool persons right elbow for a 2 inch benefit. We would have to jut out into hall 6 inches for that angle to give way 2 inches. I'm used to having a jut out, but at bar height so I think it may be my eye adjusting to a new configuration.

I'd ask to , well not ask but tell the fabricator I'll need to OK the cut placement layout on the stone before the slabs get cut. And that way I can see what the counter will look like before anything happens to them. Including how the veining will blend at the seams, if any. No surprises. No regrets. There is 100% no way I would rely on the fabricator to make those choices without reviewing them. Or making them myself. I'm paying and living with them. Cellphone pics of agreed upon layout.
