Pentair vs. Hayward cartridge filters

I'm looking at a Hayward C17502 (175 Sq. Ft.) cartridge filter and a Pentair Clean and Clear filter (150 Sq. Ft.) Do you pool guys have any opinion about one being better than the other? Does one of them have a lower resistance (less friction) than the other (we are trying to make this pool systen as efficient as possible with an Intelliflo VS.? What is your observation on longevity between them?

It looks like the Pentair comes with a union type of fitting which seems better. The Hayward has another 25 square feet of filter material, which is better.

The quad-cartridge filters look really nice too but I think that you'll pay a lot of money over time to replace not just one, but four of them. They are also significantly more expensive.

Thanks
