Hot Water/Cast Iron Baseboards Question

Hi~

Our house is 85 years old, and we recently converted from oil fired steam heating to on-demand hot water heating. We also changed from standard cast iron ratiators to cast iron baseboard radiators. We currently have two active zones, one downstairs that covers living room/dining room and kitchen. We removed the wall between the dining room and kitchen so now this is all open. The size of these two rooms combined is 18 ft wide x 20 ft long by 8.5 ft high. There is only a single baseboard ratiator in this kitchen/dining area measuring 6ft long. All the walls are fully insulated, along with having insulated glass windows.

We are unable to get the temperature in this area above 60 degrees. Are there options to improve this situation other than adding more rads?

Thanks,

C
