Electric on demand tank vs oil furnace hot water?

Hi all, not sure if I am describing this right. Currently, I get hot water from my oil furnace. I do not have a regular water tank. The furnace is 275 gallons. I am locked into heating oil price of $4.59 gal (GRRRR). I haven't yet turned on my heat preferring to use my wood stove as much as possible. I have calculated that it takes about 35 gals of oil to provide hot water for a two month period. Even though the cost of electricity is high do you have any opinion on if switching to a tankless might still save us$? We do not have gas available to the home. It is just the 2 of us empty nesters, no dishwasher and we have always washed our clothes in cold water. /Abi
