Life on the road

So I just got back from my first ever real road trip with a band. They were gone for two weeks and I flew in to met up with them for the last weekend leg of their tour - (I don't want to leave my family for so long) - I have to say that if I never smell another fart again it will be too soon.

Grateful, ever so grateful that this crew does not do drugs including the wacky weed. And I've never laughed so hard in my life for three days straight and I've never been so stinkin tired.

It was extremely surreal to be driving through montana (we're from Washington), listening to the radio, and having one of our songs come on - hearing the station promoting our show that night, and having a sold out crowd singing along to the music.

I can see how musicians get addicted to the road - it's the most amazing bonding experience with your band mates and the emotional rollercoaster is insane. I'll be writing this trip off for all the therapy work I did on these boys in the car - LOL! Sorry so long, just am still so amped up about the whole thing.
