Oh good for you!! I know it is so easy to move it around, in the commercial she is dancing around the living room swerving around things, I am not dancing but it does get around! There is only one PRO version of this particular one, It is the Shark Navigator Lift away PRO, it is a white vacuum the regular model that is not PRO is purple. Shark has many vacuums however so being sure it is this particular one is important. This is it on amazon.(there is not much difference in the purple and white in price or in function but the white pro does have a larger debris container, some places have them both for the same price) Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional Vacuum - Model NV356 you may see a different number than the NV356 if you are buying at walmart or some other store that has their own specific codes. Mine is from walmart so the number is slightly different. Not sure if BBB has a different number. QVC might since theirs does come with added accessories. The suction on this vacuum is amazing. I have a large rug in my living room, that thing will suck down onto that rug and you can not move it, my cleaing lady said oh no what now, well there is a collar that you can turn that allows some air into the suction so that it "lightens up" and then you can move it. So if you find you are stuck LOL that is how to use it on rugs and stuff like that. I have noticed that when I use that sprinkle stuff on my carpets it tends to really get in the foam filter that is where the lift off part connects, I try to remember to clean my filters regularly as they suggest. I've owned the 4-wheeled version of "The Pool Cleaner" since 2002. Had a Polaris and hated it!!! My first "Pool Cleaner" was "used" and given to me by a friend in the pool business. I am on my 3rd now and love them! The first 2 were called "Trackers" and made by a company that went out of business (I believe). They are easy to maintain and do a great job on the floor and walls. Cleans my pool in a couple of hours. My pool has 90 degree angle walls-to-floor. No incline. The cleaner will nose into the wall and (eventually) turn or climb itself out. As a result, my wheels wear out on the inside hub/gears quicker. The manufacturers use metal drive shafts that tend to chew up the inside of the plastic front wheel hub gears after awhile (9 months to a year). I rotate my wheels and tires from front to rear to extend life. I use a Hayward Skim Vac plate that allows cleaning every other day. Mine runs +12 hours a day. Parts can also be pricey. Tires can cost as much as a set of tires for a small car (over $40 with shipping, each!) I bought my latest "Pool Cleaner" from INYOPools.com. Great price and quick delivery!

DE filters, when backwashed, still leave some DE behind. Every year or so, it is a good idea to take golfgeek's plan a step farther. Removing the grid assembly from the tank and hosing the grids helps a lot but removing the header that takes in the filtered water allows the grid panels to be separated. Note the pattern used to make the grid fit properly. There is one panel that is not as wide as the others so make note of it for reassembly. This allows a more detailed hosing off and inspection. It also allows the grids to be soaked in a degreasing solution to remove skin oils, lotions, etc... that can be absorbed by the fabric making up the panels. I use a clean, large trash can filled mostly with water, a few cups of TSP or powdered, store brand, dishwasher detergent to degrease the panels. Let the panels soak for a few hours and hose them off. Most of the dinginess is now gone. The panels should be inspected for holes in the fabric or, as is often the case with neglected grids, checking to see that the fabric isn't stretched and meeting each face on the inside. A space between the insides must exist or filtered water can't get through. Any panels failing this inspection should be replaced. After the grid assembly is put back together and set in the tank, a full DE charge can be added. If you only backwashed, only add about 3/4s of a charge. As for the slow Navigator, turn off the drain to increase the suction where the Navigator is plugged in. It will do a faster and better job after replacing the wings and feet. Scott

So many Sharks. I have the lift-away pet hair. Best vacuum I've ever had. I use the pet hair feature on upholstery and stairs. Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away TruePet Upright Vacuum, Bordeaux (NV752) Is it the lightest? Hmmm....no. maybe not. But it's very easy to push and maneuver. On hard floors I lift off the canister and use the hard floor attachment. Canister in one hand, pole in the other. That seems to work better than trying to push it like an upright due to the microfiber pad. The cord. What to say? It's a cord and so... But the thing I hate about cordless is either there's no power or it runs for a few minutes and dies. Lots of attachments. I have guests in 2 weeks and I was just doing baseboards and window sills in the 2 guest rooms. Easy. Anyway, good luck!
