Sounds a lot more fun than the schedule here.

I've been trying to get my house cleaned top to bottom so we can have our realtor give us an estimate of what it might sell for in today's market. But I've got this migraine nibbling at the edges of my head. It can't seem to decide whether to become a full-fledged one or not. Not sure I want to be sniffing cleaning products and encouraging it, though--LOL!

Well right now I have 6 teenagers here LOL after I get them rounded up I will be cleaning! Stacy

I've been to the grocery.
Unloaded/loaded the dishwasher.
I'll flip the loads in the washer/dryer.
Start a pot roast in the oven.
Go to neighbor's to stay w/their 2 y/o, when he wakes from nap bring him back here. (DS was supposed to do this, but he is very sick today.)
Finish the pot roast, have a nice dinner w/b-day cake for DH (he's 40!)
Roller hockey game at 7, if DS is up to it and the rain stops (not looking good for either one, though)
Get everyone to bed so I can stay up late to do the PTA newsletter.

That's probably too much for one day and the cleaning/laundry will not get very far.

As soon as my new dryer is delivered, I can catch up on laundry. I hate going to the laundrymat.

Then we'll finish helping oldest DD and boyfriend/fiance unpack in their new apartment. Then we'll move a couple furniture pieces into our garage to prepare for THEIR (let me stress that it's THEIR garage sale).

It's so hot here this weekend....today we are going to lunch at the beach and walk along the strand. We love to people watch!

Went to church this morning, then came home and I fixed Mom and myself dinner. I fixed Ranch House Chicken Fried Steak. It was a recipe I found on that Crock Pot posting on Thursday. I used tenderized round steak (Mom's still getting used to her new teeth). I cut the recipe in half, used the entire can of Chicken stock, and omitted the jalapenos. It is VERY good. I had mashed potatoes, and corn (that I froze last summer).
Then I cleaned up the kitchen somewhat, and came in here to catch up on my reading. I feel like taking a nap.

Made two 12" x 18" slab cakes. Made fillings and icings. Printed icing pics for them. Decorated them. Ran the dishwasher. Walked the dogs. Pruned the roses. Baked a loaf of bread. Making spaghetti and meatball dinner. Called my dad. After supper clean up will go for a 2 mile walk on the dreadmill.

Finally a day where a guy can be outside and not get frostbite. I did some cleanup in the yard, did some pruning on the roses, apple tree, and bonsai, cleaned last years bean vines off the trellis.
Inside, I made the boys pancakes for lunch and am now kicking back for a little while as a load of laundry finishes up.

I have had an absolutely wonderful morning! Jammer and I went to services at the Methodist church, which was a first for us. My good Yaya friend, Beverly Houston, was going to be there along with a men's choir from another church here in town. The music was wonderful and it was so nice to see some friends that we hadn't seen for awhile. My friend Beverly is one of the most awesome people I know. She is well known for her singing talents and performs regularly. She was even inducted into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame because of all she's done to help in the city. I can't say enough good things about her. Anyway she played the piano for the mens choir and hadn't planned to sing, but at the last minute one of the church ladies went up to her and ask her if she would sing one song. She sang a beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace and before singing she said she was dedicating this song to me and our other high school classmates. Believe me, it was Kleenex time for me and Jammer!

Jammer had to leave for work soon after we got home, so I am just having a relaxing afternoon and will probably finish the book I'm reading.

Not much of anything,like Vicki said it's too darn hot here,and not a breeze stirring.At my house it's 93 right now and feels like a sauna when you step outside,So i'm sitting here with the fans blowing to move the air around.My friend who lives in the valley below me says it's 103 at her place.

I just got home from a beautiful memorial service for an amazing woman at the Japanese Garden at CSU Long Beach. She really was an inspiration.

The rest of the day will be spent doing some chores around the house, laying on the couch, and trying not to get heat exhaustion. It is close to 100 degrees here.

I guess you're already gone, hope you're having a good time. I called in sick today. I can't quit coughing. My asthma is acting up and so I'm just taking it easy.

Just made reservations to take the boys to an indoor waterpark tomorrow. Gonna be a lot of fun. Incredibly expensive though.

Wow! I'm ready for a nap. We have been up late Friday and Saturday Night visiting our friends from Bolivia. If it hadn't been for a storm this morning I think I would have slept forever.

I usually go to bed before 10:00, I was up until 3:00 am Friday and Saturday had to go to a Bridal Shower, then up again last night until 2:00 am. I'm beat.

We just got back from spending the afternoon with my DD. We met her halfway from her college, had lunch at Cracker Barrel and did some shopping at TJMax.

It was cool and rainy, a perfect day for weeding my rose garden. I got two-thirds done and got tired. But things are looking good. I love weeding. It gives instant gratification, yet no matter how much I do, there's always more!

We worked in the yard until 11, then went out to eat, came home, and cleaned house until 5, fed animals and made possum blankets for the little possums because it is going to be in the low 50's tonight.

Went to an Orchid show with my daughter in Anniston. I ate lunch at Olive Garden. It was delicious! It's raining now and looks like it will all night here.

Kathi, I don't live in Temecula. I live near LAX....about 15 minutes from the beaches and still no ocean breexe like we usually get here. It has been a hot hot weekend. My sister lives out near Temecula and I know how hot it gets there! Anyway it was in the mid 90's here today..and right now it's 86 they say...sure feels like it!

Church, and planned to visit library (faster computer responses than here), get some milk. Had thought that I might work on friend's income tax, but called from church to beg off, as I need to get a guide book tomorrow, then went to visit a friend doing a show in nearby city, to see whether he wanted me to drive with his van while he drove home, but he didn't. So I went to do some more work on books of friend's rental home, readying for income tax, then to visit another friend near home to tell them how I'm enjoying being free to drive, after about 7 weeeks restricted, gave her a store flyer, as some good sales at that store this week.

Then home for a bit to eat, enjoy some of the milk I'd bought, and come here (again) to talk ... with more than a minute to talk, this time.

Should be doing more work on my own income tax ... have some questions for tax office tomorrow. Deadline Wed.

I planned to go to the outdoor market again with another load of (crap) stuff..lol. Got up at 5:45, debated whether I felt like dealing with it all, my bed was looking awfully comfortable...
had a coffee, read my book a little. Had another coffee, decided this stuff is not going to sell itself, so got my act together and headed out.
Sold $138 worth of miscellaneous stuff - was surprised, didn't seem as busy as last time, but made more money.
No money on the ground this time though.
