1. Sauerkraut, also liver. I really like kraut today but still cannot eat liver.

2. There was a dish made with spinach and soda crackers made in a fry pan. My sister & I wish we had goten the recipe. We both have tried to recreate it, but no luck.

3. I'm not famous for my cooking, so i can't remember my kids asking for anything special except to eat out.

1. I hate Malt-O-Meal. My mom used to make it a lot for breakfast. My family still laughs at me because it got to the point that my mom would cook breakfast and I'd go out in the front yard to crack and eat hickory nuts. I haven't tried it lately, but I'd probably still hate it because it had an icky chocolate smell.

2. My brothers and I loved Kraft spaghetti that came in the green boxes. You made the sauce by stirring the seasoning packet into tomato sauce. The parmesan cheese came in a packet that you sprinkled on at the end. It always embarrassed my mom that we would say it was our favorite food. My mom was a good cook and did know how to cook from scratch.

3. One of the most requested meals around here is grilled chicken that has been marinated in Italian dressing, steamed broccoli with a little salt and butter, and potato bread made in the bread maker.

1. My Mother never made anything I didn't like. I did not like the smell of the coffee she fixed and I don't care for coffee today. Adellabedella, I thought Malt-O-Meal was a maple flavored cereal. Maybe you are thinking of coco wheats?

2. I never begged my Mother to make anything, but I imagine I liked her chicken and noodles best with mashed potatoes, green beans, fresh tomatoes, corn on the cob and banana salad.

3. My kids like my chicken and noodles, yeast rolls and my pies.
