In all my research of toilets, I found no other such toilets. I purchased a neorest and a hatbox. I have heard nothing about the hatbox and have actually never used one. I purchased it mainly for aesthetics and size. I have friends with the neorest and they have had no problems. I am a little concerned about the kohler hatbox from my past negative experience with kohler's silent flush models, but I do understand I should not compare "apples to oranges" Since I am/was doing a major remodel with new walls, I thought of installing a tankless toilet. However, I decided that they would be too complicated for the typical plumber to repair and I also kept running into obstacles when I attempted to order the carriers. Also, I plan to rent out this house in the future and figured the carrier in the wall might cause problems that a tenant might not notice until it was too late. Kelley

I did a Duravit wall-mounted toilet with Geberit. Toto has come out with a wall-mounted toilet, but I am not sure of the quality since it is relatively new. It is difficult to install especially if you are converting floor-mounted into wall-mounted. There is a hole in the floor below the toilet. You need to now make it into a wall, so a pipe has to connect between that hole and your wall toilet. Since this requires additional plumbing and installation, it is more expensive. On a positive note, you can move the toilet to a location you like since you can move the pipes to accommodate you. I did floor toilets for two bathrooms, and wall in the master. Since I moved my bathroom, a wall-mounted toilet worked the best. My Duravit takes less space and works fine. It is louder, and I need to use more water to flush even small pieces of toilet paper. I bought the flush actuator that has less water and more water buttons, but I need to use more water. I am not sure if it is my plumbing work because a friend of mine likes them and has remodeled all her bathrooms to use Duravit wall toilets. I like my Toto floor toilets the best.

I went with the Toto Maris. Very small water spot - don't know if you can tell, but the water level is way down to where it flattens out, but might be something we could adjust? Anyway, we like it. Its comfortable, Sanigloss keeps it very clean. Planning to use the same one in our next remodel! Which Geberit tank are you planning to use?

I am moving into my house today with wall mounts. I will measure. I know we did age in place height, and it is high!! I will be getting me a squatting potty, but I think that would turn my guests off.
