If I have leftover coffee, I put it in the refrig and reheat the next day.

I have a four-cup maker. I make one pot a day, drink two cups hot in a.m. and make iced coffee later in the day with the leftovers. If I forget, I dump out the leftover. I don't care for day old coffee. Too bitter.

Sorry I have no ideas but would like to know what good coffee you buy and where, if you don't mind.

I was wasting a lot of coffee so I also bought one of the small coffeemakers. It says 4 cups but they would have to be small cups. After we each have our morning mug, there is only a small amount left...I just toss it. I don't really like reheated coffee...but I drink my coffee pretty strong..real coffee...

I save the coffee and the coffee grounds and put it around my roses. They love it.

I buy Peet's coffee and get it at Basha's (Arizona only) but think you can buy it at some Safeways. You can go on their web site to find it. I LOVE Illy coffee but it is very expensive. You can find it at World Market and some better grocery stores. They also have a web site.

If you are brunette, you can use leftover coffee to rinse your hair. Supposedly makes it shiny and hides the greys. I am brunette but haven't tried this since I will drink leftover coffee the next day. DH won't. We also use what I consider "good" coffee like Starbucks. I like it with a strong flavor and don't get that with Folgers or Hills.

I also found a recipe in Taste of Home for slow cooked beef using a cup of black coffee, I'm going to have to try that one.

Sleeper, I think I use the same pot roast recipe from Taste. Since I have started using that recipe, I also dump the remainder of the cup into anything made with ground beef also.

Dilute and use it to water house plants. I should start putting the grounds in the flower beds again though.

We never have leftover coffee - at least none that we are willing to give up. I make a pot in the morning and I get one cup. DH "fixes" the rest of the pot to his liking and pours it into a thermos. He drinks it all day long (works at home) and whatever is left at the end of the day ends up as an iced coffee at night. But I do like to use coffee in some items and usually have to make a pot just so I can have what I need. My favorite is Texas Brownies:

TEXAS BROWNIES

Ingredients:
---Brownies---
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup coffee, strong brewed
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

---Frosting---
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoon cocoa
1/4 milk
1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and lightly grease an 11 X 17 inch baking pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, shortening, coffee and cocoa. Stir constantly until heated to a boil. Pour boiling mixture over flour and sugar. Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Mix well, using a wooden spoon or high speed mixer. Pour batter into baking pan. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until done in center.
Meanwhile, prepare the frosting combining butter, cocoa and milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently until heated to a boil. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla and stir until smooth. Pour warm frosting over brownies as soon as they come out of the oven. Cool and cut into squares.

Roses and clematis like leftover coffee, and the grounds go in the garden soil.

What leftover coffee?
I drink it all....no leftovers.

As long as you let it cool off first, your azaleas like it too. ;)

My first DH was an AF Cook and he made what he called German Spaghetti, Using a cup of brewed coffee in the sauce

I make a yummy iced coffee drink using my VitaMix but I bet you could use a blender if you used crushed ice.
I add a cup or so of cold coffee, add 1/3 cup dry powdered non-fat milk, a shake or so of cinnamon, a T. of Hershey's baking cocoa, some Splenda or some blue agave syrup and ice cubes. Turn on high until frothy or thick like a milkshake, depending on how much ice I use.
Very refreshing and a lot cheaper and more healthy than getting something similar at Starbuck's.
I have also used a cup of coffee when cooking pot roast.

When I make icing for muffins - icing sugar, butter - I add some crunchy peanut butter, and for the liquid, I use a bit of hot coffee, rather than hot water. It is really tasty and I get lots of compliments from my son's friends.

I use it in brown or turkey gravy. Just a bit adds taste and color and does not taste like coffee unless you overdo it. Add and taste as you go. I have done this for years and my family loves my gravy and has no clue it has coffee in it...

To make coffee jello you mix your coffee the way you useually mix your coffee and you take plain gelitaine and instead of water you use coffee when it calls for water.I drink my coffee black so I don't use cream but I guess you could try it.What do you have to lose?It is really good .Sometimes I top it with coolwhip.

During the Hot months I store it in the fridge for iced coffee. It's great with a little soda and some cream in a tall glass with ice on a hot day! And not bad at all with a shot of Baileys!

I put the coffee grounds in the compost pile every day. I love Dunkin donuts which I get at Target.
